  • If you're supposed to be eating 1650, eat it. Doing 1300 may be too few and you're body is going to save what it can, hence you're stuck on a plateau. That said, YAY YOU!! That's awesome!
  • I've wanted to try it, glad it got good reviews. Gotta watch out for sodium on their soups though, but I think when I looked this one up it wasn't too terrible.
  • Good luck! Just remember to take it one day at a time and not get frustrated if things aren't going as quickly as you'd like. Remember the big picture and that'll help you stay on the right path.
  • Thanks everyone!
  • I weigh myself every morning. I know people say you shouldn't, but for me it's a daily reminder of why I am doing this and it helps keep me on track. I am a creature of habit, so if I didn't do it every morning, I think I would more easily go off the wayside. It does suck not to see change daily, but that's ok, as long as…
  • I weigh myself every morning and do my WiiFit boby test at the same time. They're usually about the same.
  • I'm kinda going through that right now. I've lost 23 lbs so far, and when I am seeing a difference everyday on the scale, I feel good about it and I feel less "fat" even though at 243 I am. However, this week the scale has been sticking at the same spot and each day I check I feel frustrated and now I am noticing that its…
  • Thats awesome! I have my first doc visit in 8 years coming up, and we'll see how it goes. Last time I was there I was 202 and she wasn't happy. But I'm hoping she'll be glad that I'll be down around 30 by the time I go. Here's hoping!
  • You look great! Keep up the good work!
  • Welcome and good luck! I remember my 1st day and here I am now 8 weeks later and 20lbs lighter! Good luck!
  • Good job! I get like that too, where I think that it should be more than it is, but when you look at the big picture (ie month) it's easier to see what you've accomplished. You'll be at your goal in no time! :)
  • I did pretty well. I didn't go crazy, though my husbands uncle makes AMAZING desserts that I avoided, except for half of a cheesecake cupcake thingy. Tried to eat more healthy-ish veggie sides, but I love ham too. Made sure I worked out a little bit last night and I only went up on the scale by a few ounces, so thats good.…
  • Me too, I was so psyched to leave the 260s and hit the 250s! Now I'm looking forward to 240s, which is really great cause it's under 1/2 way to 300! I love seeing the scale going down and it just makes it easier each day to "keep going". Yay for all of us "losers"
  • That is amazing! Congrats!!! I can only hope to be where you are in 8 months!
  • On days that I work out and have calories to fill, I will have 3 pb cracker sandwiches using 1Tbsp PB and 6 saltines. It's just enough to fill that craving. Although, I was a little naughty and had a Reese's PB Cup on Tuesday, and the other yesterday...but I fit it into my count and took teeny tiny bites to savor it longer…
  • That's awesome! Congrats!
  • Quick update: Drank a TON of water yesterday-6 cups w/o exercising so thats alot for me in a regular day. No soda, no snacks after dinner/before bed, and I finally broke 260! 259.6 this morning! So psyched, especially since I went over my cals yesterday by a bit...I was naugty for lunch. Hitting the gym this afternoon…
  • Yeah, salt is another thing I need to be watching. Been having a few sandwiches this week, so that's probably a culprit too. And as far as fitness and clothes, today I am in jeans that I haven't fit into in a while! And my regular work pants keep sagging in my tush cause it's shrunken a little and doesn't hold them up as…
  • Yeah, I liked the facility in Texas more than the Hilton Head. I just thought it was more realistict o get started somewhere and then make it work for everyday life, because you can't live in a bubble for 6 months like at HHH. Either way, its a great watch.
