I make a Super Foods Smoothie, and drink it on my 1+ hour commute. Loosely, it is: 1 cup water, 1 peeled kiwi, 1/2 cup frozen berries or pineapple, 1/4 lemon (Meyer, if possible), 1T Flax or Chia Seeds, 1T Spirulena, 1T Matcha Green Tea powder, 1 T Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 T Coconut Oil, 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder, and…

Hi Libby, My first soft food was an over easy egg at 1 week post op, and I had to go nap for 3 hours because I was so full! GREAT job on your weight loss! I was sleeved on October 10, and I feel wonderful! I'm starting nursing school on January 14, and I'm a little concerned about getting proper nutrition and…

Wow! You're my hero!!

I love it in a smoothie! My favorite green smoothie? 1 cup water, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen berries or peaches, 1 scoop Amplify XL Vanilla Flex protein powder, 1 T Chia Seeds (or Flax seeds), 1 T ACV, 1 T Matcha green tea powder, and a BIG handful of spinach!

I had both on October 10. Combination surgeries are the way to go!

I was sleeved on October 10, and I am thrilled that I did it! My husband has to wait until January, and he's actually jealous of me rather than the other way around. Self-described "Foodies", we both love to cook, love to eat, and love to go out to eat. After the first few weeks, I have been able to TASTE pretty much what…

They gave me one injection of Lovenox before I left the hospital. After my husband had hip replacement, I had to give him injections for about two weeks. I'm not sure how I would feel about giving them to myself, but I was able to give them to him with no problems for either of us. It's a very tiny needle.

Hi! I got sleeved, had my gall bladder removed, and had a hiatal hernia repaired on October 10. The worst part for me was not being able to drink anything from midnight before the surgery until after doing my "swallow test" the next morning. MISERABLE! Of course, there was pressure from the laproscopic procedure, and I was…

Chest straps are elastic and adjustable, so they're fine in the water and fine for full figures. Most of the models are fine to depths of at least 10 ft, JUST DON'T PRESS ANY OF THE BUTTONS ON THE WATCH WHILE YOU'RE IN THE WATER, it breaks the seal.

Erratic HR numbers could mean the battery is low.
-
Me too! And you can change the batteries on both the transmitter and the watch yourself. Plus, the transmitter actually snaps on and off of the chest strap, which saves battery power. I got mine on Amazon.com. My watch is white, and I wear it all the time.

I have lost 25 lbs since January 15, and walking is the only cardio exercise I'm doing right now. I started with 30 minutes 3 days a week, then 5 days, and now I'm doing 1 hour a day. I have a lot of weight to lose, so I'm not sure you can get the same results, but for me walking is perfect right now.

Thank you!

Philippians 2:13 - "...for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." Glory to His Name, I don't even have to come up with the will on my own!!!

I didn't know about these links, either. I'll have to check them out! I also want to check out Made to Crave. Something I can recommend to everyone is "Praying God's Word" by Beth Moore. Prayer + Scripture = Dynamite!! Feel free to add me.

I've only had it for a week, but I love mine, too! I bought one for myself and one for my husband on Amazon. VERY motivating!

How do you post a picture on the message board? I'm trying to copy and paste, but it's not working.

I'm 5'4" and have lost 24 lbs in 8 weeks. I eat around 1500 calories a day, and I walk my 2 dogs most days for 30 minutes. I am amazed at my progress, and I love MyFitnessPal! Knowledge truly is power!
