  • I lost most of my weight (over 70 lbs) about 4 years ago and it really just started to get through to my brain, this past year..... It took a while, but now that I KNOW I am not that big girl (sometimes I need reminders, so i look at my old pictures), it feels great to go in a store and not feel like I should be in the…
  • That would be me.... and I could use some support to...feel free to add me ... I should say, that'll be me by the end of this year... 45 in December :-)

  • I really feel for you because my husband use to do that and I had a very difficult time not eating what he brought home. For me, it was over 20 years of that and I never lost weight. However, It took me to one day realize that only I was responsible for what I ate and I couldn't blame him. However, I still think you need…

  • diet coke... I'll never give it up
  • I feel the exact same as you do. I usually try to avoid buffets because it really is hard to know how many calories I have eaten... but I do have the odd guilt free day (keeps me from quitting my diet) when I just enjoy myself, no counting calories, and then the next day, I am right back on the wagon. After all, this is…

  • I wish you the best Trisha... it isn't an easy journey at times as we all know, with many ups and downs along the way. Just remember that it is life long and if you fall, you just have to pick yourself up and get back on that wagon....We are all in this together. if you would like to add me to your friend list to help with…
  • too funny! here I was thinking they were doing some sort of 'air hand pumps' to show they agree with what someone else said... I am getting old...lol
  • Congratulations to you both. Keep it up. It really helps to have the added support of a spouse (regardless if the other has to lose weight). I actually never started to lose weight till my husband decided to make the change with me (this was 4 years ago). We both lost over 50 lbs together. Today he is still at his goal…

  • Hi, I am a 44 year old mother of 4. I am new to mfp and would love the added support of new friends. We all need that extra encouragement at times. Feel free to add me and let's go through this life journey together
  • I love your positive attitude... YOU are worth it!
  • first off, congratulations on your engagement. I am needing the same encouragement these days as it has been a while since I have 'been real' with my self about time to get the last of my weight off. Feel free to add me. Positive encouragement is so helpful... I am new to this so anyone else want to add me, I'd love it
