Drink 1oz of water for every 1oz of beer you drink. Helps you not get de-hydrated. Helps piss out a lot of the beer. Also negates a lot of the negatives of drinking alcohol.

Healthy snacks. Better to take in small amounts of calories 6 or 7 times during the day than feeling hungry. When I have a huge breakfast, I still get hungry by 10:30-11 so I'm better off having a small breakfast and snack before lunch (nuts, protein shake, banana...) and eating my lunch a little later. Yeah, I'm planning on going out a lot this spring / summer. I'm doing 10 to 13 mile hikes in hilly terrain on the weekends (no heavy pack, just carrying water in my backpack). Also been snowshoeing, which helps. Anything that you do at a relatively slow pace for long periods of time and that is outdoors will greatly help.

Drink a lot of water while drinking alcohol. Typically, 2 glasses of water for every alcoholic beverage. You'll pee most of the booze away and won't absorbe most of the calories.

I log it that way I'm aware of what I've been eating. Otherwise, I could quickly forget and overeat regularly.

Eat whatever you want to eat so long as it's quality foods and allow you to stay in your calorie range I need carbs in the morning otherwise I feel groggy and tired...
