I’m just catching up with you all, I’m back from England and totally knackered. I avoided all the cake and carbs but still had a 3lb gain on the scale. I’m hoping this is down to not drinking enough water, too much salt and TOM. If it’s not I’ll be blooming fuming as I’ve been so good despite all the temptation grr.

Count your net carbs so take off fiber and sugar alcohols. In the UK fibre is already taken off of the carb total so beware of that. Reddit r/xxketo and r/keto are great sources of info and make sure you get your protein goals met. :)

With low carb you're best researching for what suits you as there are many different kinds like paleo, keto and atkins. I believe low carb can be anything under 100g a day but not entirely sure. I eat less than 20g net carbs a day but it's more a preference for that type of lifestyle - I'm not fussed on rice or bread etc.…

I've been done for 3 days now with a flu. Like you I just started 30 day shred and was doing 11k steps a day. I've had before and it took about 2 weeks. Get lots of water and rest - it will come back eventually

I have 6 cats who love to try and climb on me or trip me up when I exercise. They also get annoyed if I'm noisy when exercising and wake them up. That's cats for you
