  • bisquick and jiffy have great recipes to make in... a jiffy. I made the bisquick chicken pot pie, delish! and it lasted 3 days between my boyfriend and I. and you can always alter the ingredients to make it healthier.
  • I think a lot of it is nature, unfortunately. that's what other mammals do. they pack on the pounds before hibernating. The way I've dealt with it is sneaking in a lot of recreational exercise. I bring my dog to the park and walk along the trails for an hour or so. before I know it, I've burned 200 calories. If you're…

  • at the roadhouse you can get a 6 oz steak and vegetables for sides. I like the chicken tender dinner with honey mustard and vegetables. recently I got the veggie platter with a side salad and stayed under 600 calories. the rolls have sooooo many calories, but don't deprive yourself, have one. the ribs are delicious. if you…
  • subsitution works great! turkey for beef, sweetener for sugar, wheat for white... all that stuff. if you're looking for healthy recipes, you don't have to buy a book, you can find a lot on the web. better homes and gardens, pillsbury, women's day... and a lot of them have nutrition information. if you want to go out to…
  • are you eating dinner or snacking? if you're snacking, probably not. if you're eating dinner, yes. it's never good to eat a meal and do no activity afterwards.
  • you can do it!!!

  • or you cold save the calories for lunch. but it also depends if you take your lunch to work or buy it. I bring along low calorie/high protein snacks that you could eat before and after lunch if you're feeling hunger pangs. you could mix lowfat yogurt and fruit, or fruit alone. nuts may also help, but you can only really…

  • I would say reduce incline or reduce speed, but not both. do you run on your toes? or step with your whole foot? it depends on where you disperse your weight, and possibly your shoes. if you step mostly on the outside of your foot, that could lead to bulking.

  • it's because of the yolk. you can have one whole scrambled egg mixed with 1 egg white and it will have a few more calories, but it will be a better breakfast.
  • and if you want something sweet, not just necessarily ice cream, Pop-sicle has 15 calorie Sugar Free Popsicles.
  • I usually stick with equal and only use one or two in my drinks (sometimes cereal, like corn flakes or cheerios). if you like your drinks sweet, you might as well stick with sugar because sweetener in large amounts don't normally taste good. but I've seen granulated versions of sweetener like altern and my dad swears by it.
  • I don't know if someone explained it, but I'd like to take a crack at it. it feels better to start over after some sleep. and 'tomorrow' is a longer wait than 'tonight.' Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary
  • walmart sells a series of yoga and pilates dvds that you can buy progressively (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and you can do it on your own time, at your own pace. the pilates dvd I have is from Gaiam, and it's so easy and well instructed, I feel relaxed afterward as well. walmart also sells additional products…
  • that's the thing I don't like about a lot of fruits, they do have high sugar contents. but what you can do is look up the content early in the day or when you go grocery shopping, and buy/eat only those that are to your liking. If you don't have it in your house, you can't eat it, right?…

  • I agree!! every time I've gone out to eat and looked at the nutritional info afterwards, I've always said "I'm never going there again!" Chili's items have ridiculously high calorie contents, Ted's Montana Grill, however, has generally lower-calorie meals. I'm never going to Chili's again. OH and Dunkin Donuts, check out…
  • When I go out to eat, I'll usually stick with chicken; or if I want a burger, I get turkey burgers. If I want a steak or beef, I'll usually skip the appetizer and get vegetables for sides. It's all about balance. Another alternative can be buying food to make homemade replicas of take-out or restaurant food. About.com has…
