  • bbush18 is right, but regardless, my recommended daily intake is like 120 ounces a day and I try my best to get to that. normally I would drink maybe like 75oz. a day without meaning to though. I drink a lot, so its still hard to get to 120oz but not insanely hard. I find that I lose a lot more weight when I drink half my…
  • Man, I never even thought of that. If by stretchy do you mean "hangy"? I'm keeping a pretty steady strength and aerobic exercise regime, and hoping that my skin will tone evenly as I keep losing. Would that help that possible problem later on, with the "stretchy" factor?
  • Well, clearly not all 274 of it is "extra", and I don't know anyone in their right mind who would stay fat just to keep their tattoos looking good. That's pretty dumb. (: But thanks.
  • ARE YOU SERIOUS? Oh man, I don't think I could be the bigger person on this one. They'd probably get a fat lip from me.
  • dude, you are too nice. drop the bomb. sit down and have a serious, non-argumentative, adult conversation about it. lay out your goals and tell her that you want her to be a part of them, like you want her to be a part of your future. no relationship is a one-way street, unless it's a ****ty one. if she's a good woman,…
  • We're almost the same! I'm 5'9", started at 274 and am currently 243. My goal weight is 170-175. I allowed myself extra weight because I'm already pretty muscular, and muscle weighs more than fat. I'm also planning to try and stay as curvy as possible, I'd rather not be super skinny. So 170ish is my healthy weight.
  • WHERE did you get that dress? It is amazing! I am seriously in love with it! The fact that it is so flattering on a more curvy figure is slaying me, all the vintage retro items I find are for the flat-chested girls size 6 and under. PS, great progress!
  • WEIGHT LIFTING! I'm not talking about like giant, enormous dumbbells or anything.. but weight lifting has helped so many of my friends AND me with excess skin. It's no quick fix, it definitely takes some time depending on what you need to tighten up, but there are a bazillion upsides to it besides just the skin bit. More…
  • I don't know if this would make any difference to you, but it REALLY helps me! I found this free app for iphone called "WeightTrack". All it really does is let you set a weight goal and an estimated date you'd like to be that weight, and then put up a graph. But that graph is WONDERFUL. It shows me exactly how I need to…
  • "Symptoms: Tight calf muscles are a common problem for runners. You'll feel a gradual tightening in your calf muscles when running. Sometimes the pain will go away while running, but then comes back after you stop. Cause: Tight calf muscles are often caused by increasing your mileage too quickly and/or not stretching…
  • I feel the same way. Even though my loss is a small percentage of what I have left to lose, I still can leave the house in whatever I throw on and feel pretty without all my usual makeup. I havent felt like that in a long time! I know that its because I'm feeling so much healthier and my self-respect is growing so much. It…

  • You DO carry weight well! For real, I'd be happy looking as good as you at 330, and you look even better now! Congratulations. (: I hope you keep your shape, I see sooo many success story pictures of women who have great curves and then lose them completely when they reach their goal. Bah!
