I have a 5 hour window to eat. And it's going great! I like eating big meals, and once I start, it's really hard to stop eating. So I eat as late in the day as I can. It also seems like I'm full faster since I started IF. I used to have a bottomless pit in my stomach, but now I'm full quite fast.

My sister used it. She did lose weight, yes, but it got so boring after a couple of weeks, that she quit, started eating again and gained the weight back, and some more. I suggest not to do it. Keep the money and spend it on other and useful things :)

I hope you get the surgery. My sis got hers and it's going good for her. She is very happy she got it. She does have the occasional setback when she eats too much and gets stomach pain, so don't hope it to be a magic fix, you really need to work on it. But I'm sure you can do it :)

My weight went up waaay too high when my dad got cancer too. Then he passed away and I gained more weight, but now I'm giong to lose it all again. We can do it!

My sis had a bypass a year ago and she's doing fine! I hope it will work out for you too! You can do it!

I'm around the same weight and I have the same GW (for now). I hardly log anything myself, but I do come on here and look around from time to time :)

This may sound stupid, but I always have a 0.5l bottle of water standing in front of me.. with a straw in it. That way I don't have to pay attention when drinking. Just have to suck on the straw and drink. Your bottle is going to be empty before you know it!
