No advice as I never have this issue but thanks for reminding me to take mine, I had completely forgotten.

18 - 40 I guess (arbitrary range decided ad hoc for this thread). If I happened to like someone older or younger I would be fine with that. Honestly, I don't much care how old someone is but the likelihood of being "compatible" diminishes somewhat as the disparity in age increases. Then again I am single so I'm probably…

No experience to match yours but broadly my advice would be to pick one of the many novice routines available (Stronglifts, Starting Strength, Allpro's etc) and start very conservatively.

Yes. I always have a bunch of whey right after a workout. You should do whatever works for you, and you only find that out by experimenting. :)
-
That's fair enough, how many cycles did you complete? Allpro does have intermediate routines if you are so inclined. If you can still see regular progress on a full-body routine I would stick to a full-body routine, but of course the most important thing is to find something you enjoy. If you want to try something other…

I would stick to Allpro's if you are still seeing regular improvements.

Many thanks. Hopefully nobody here hates sentence fragments or I won't have afforded them the same courtesy. :D

A common thing to happen on first dates.
-
As often as you want to.

I think he was messing with you.

People who misuse ellipses tend to annoy me (hint). This said, my posts are replete with mistakes on forums as I make no effort to have them not be. Some people are more educated than other people, there is no need to point it out on a fitness forum. :) Edit: I had made a fairly egregious mistake and decided to fix it. The…

The problem with choosing to do your strength training when you are already fatigued is that your risk of injury is considerably increased when performing technically difficult lifts. That being said, I broadly agree with jhc but would suggest you do your strength training first (and be sure to add some sort of regular…

Roy Jones - Can't be Touched From Undisputed 2 - Bring it on Three Six Mafia - It's a Fight Stic.man - Back on my Regiment Eminem - Till I collapse Yukmouth - Kill 'Em Off For example.

I wouldn't bother making your own lifting routine. If you can't do your spinning after lifting (or only on off days) then I would probably suggest running something like All Pro's beginner routine and schedule it so your light and medium days are the days where you spin or whatever before. I would also drop the classes…

I have gloves I have never used. Must've bought them when I was a young teenager as I really don't remember - they have just always been there. This said, I use chalk. I have a ball of it I keep inside two small resealable bags. I don't go to the gym at the moment so don't need it much but if I am doing something higher…

CNS adaptions, increased motor unit recruitment etc The internet is full of explanations (with decidedly variable cogency) if you are so inclined. :)
-
The most important thing is to use some metric for assessing your progress so you can adapt what you are doing. Take measurements etc.

I use Myprotein Impact Whey (strawberry cream), but I don't think they have any American presence. I use it because it is a fairly cost efficient way to take in enough protein and has a favourabe protein to calorie ratio for me. There is absolutely no need to buy anything flashy so don't fall for the marketing. Treat it…

Herbs are tasty. Wait, what....

Marmite is disgusting. Canada is my kind of country.

A fairly ugly part of the UK. What I wouldn't give to live in Devon....

I assume it means add them as a friend. You click their name (by their post) and then on their profile there will be a button to that effect.

Then yes you will lose weight. I would recommend buying a cheap barbell set if you don't want to join a gym, or at least doing some body-weight stuff but it is preference really.
-
There is no reason to attach a limit to it. Eventually you will stop being able to progress even after a deload or two and then you can look for another program. Or if you just find it boring. Some people get a lot of mileage from SS as long as they don't try to ego lift and end up 1/4 squatting, and even then with far…

Yea Chael even said after the fight that hen does all his best work at 185. Rashad isn't an undersized 205er at all I think he has a good chance of making a run at the title though I can't really see him beating JJ. Chael beat the snot out of AS for so much of that first fight - I would really have liked to see him as…

You don't have to, but I would try to.
-
It depends, but possibly. There is only one way to find out - do what you are doing for a while and record your results. With regards to the exercise: MFP is almost certainly wrong, and what those people said is almost certainly wrong. Everyone who comments in this thread could take a guess and would all almost certainly…

You will gain muscle on SS assuming your nutrition is on point, but it isn't the optimum way to do so. Way back on TUF 2. I assume you've seen it. Rashad is a great fighter and he is looking good of late. That said, I did want Chael to win.

Goblet squat.

Worms all over the floor in this thread. Don't let them get in the way of your squatting, ladies. Perhaps I am not one of these "normal" men but I certainly don't mind a nice athletic body. :D
