I am certainly NO EXPERT, you should probably eat more, not less. The best investment I ever made was my Polar F7 HRM and my Fitbit. I have mine set at 1200 but I rarely (if ever) eat that little. I'm also on the Chris Powell's 'Choose to Lose' Menu and I love it. I really think you need to eat more and then experiment,…

I 2nd Lizard and she's great for motivation and info! We all were newbie's once and most of us with a big struggle before us. I hope you find this site as great as most of us have. Feel free to add me as a friend, we can never have info supporters. Cheers!

I do a 'whatever you want to call it day'....I personally prefer CHEAT day because that's all I do! I don't feel guilty in the least and I still log absolutely everything, inlcuding my alcohol intake. I also follow Chris Powell's 'Choose to Lose' Plan which allows for it. I find that it works...but you just never know…

Dear OP, Thank you for reminding us all how wonderful each one of our pets are. Your wife (and you) were so lucky to have her for as long as you did. I have lost all my animals from old age and it never gets easier! We have 2 rescues and they see me crying from your post and are already by my side. Thank you so much for…

I love my fitbit too! Remember to only log your info into MFP and not Fitbit!!! Otherwise you will get double the results. FB will automatically sync and record your info from MFP. I use the start/stop when working out and only to track my workouts using weights...for cardio, I too, use my HRM (far better accuracy). Hope…

I just started it last Tuesday, so have only completed week 1 and start week 2 tomorrow. I hate hate hate running, so this is my Internal Challenge to myself. I like the program so far but have not noticed any changes....which kind of makes sense since each week is only 3x./wk if I understand it correctly. But I am looking…

Ok, thank you so much, that makes total sense,....I have read the book and initially it looked like 4x/wk but they said only three. Thank you so much for your help....GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

There is a book called "NEW RULES OF LIFTING FOR WOMEN" that explains why lifting low weights with high reps is useless unless you are doing an endurance program. It has everything you need for beginners to lift and what/how etc. the benefits and proper excercises are. It is a great book and I strongly recommend it if you…

Hey there YES!!! I have my FB and keep it on for everything except showering, lol! I just bought the FT7 and use it for my cardio activity. You definiately will find the combination beneficial since the FB doesn't track your heart rate. With the FB you also include start times for your excercise onc you hav syncd it to…

I received mine last week and love it. I use my HRM for cardio as my FB doesn't track as well since it's not a monitor designed for that. But everything else is terrific. It tracks EVERYTHING else..including sleep, steps, floors, calories per day and also has a start/stop option so you can accurately track your extra…

I just started using my FT7 and was blown away when I finished Day 3 of the 30 DS. It said that I completed 396 calories in the 30 minutes. I thought that was way high too but it has been accurate with my other cardio, so I think it's probably bang on. The FT4 and FT7 have been the most recommended after doing research so…

After reading so many posts, I just ordered the book and am totally excited about getting started. I have FAT to lose and I really hope this helps in losing inches! Any feedback on how many inches (not necessarily weight) people have lost while doing this program...really looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.…

How do I join, just got it and want to include it with going to the gym on alternate days....how do I join? I will be starting it Monday???
-
Ok, will try that...........how do you know if it's syncing? I have been sick and very sedentary today and FB says I have burned over 1200cal. Not too sure about that?? I can't see any adjustments on MFP and no clue on how to tell if it is or isn't syncing??????? I am so confused, lol....thanks for all the help!
-
Thanks, good to know....how do you start/stop your workouts? I'm guessing it doesn't track Cardio and weight training separately, or do I have to log that into FB manually?
-
Where is the start/stop and how do I reset it to track my workout? Will it still add my overall daily calories burned. I'm really confused too! I'm sick today and haven't done anything, but it says that I have burned over 1200 calories....how is that even possible? HELP!
-
I have the same question! My meals sync to my FB but it only shows up the Cals burned on my FB and not on MFP? Help would be super appreciated!
-
Me too and her whole family, they even came to my wedding! I also know my sister on my biological fathers side. Oops that was to be posted for the adopted and know my birth mother post!

We were there over Xmas and I definiately logged it! Had our 15 year old with us and we went everywhere! I logged it as leisurely walking and calculated at about half of the time we were there which was about 12 hrs/day. You are still moving! I didn't consider it cardio (obviously), but I do believe that moving should…
