Oh, and this ^^^^

Moist and Chillax.

i've had the same issue in the past. my most difficult time is at night after the kids are in bed. and for me, it didn't matter what the food was. keeping "treats" out of the house wasn't enough...if i'm headed toward a binge, i could eat a brick of cheese or any other food i can lay my hands on (i have a REALLY effed up…

Balut. It didn't make it down and the rest of my stomach's contents came back up.

i get headaches when i go too long without eating or if i've had a really low protein day. not sure about too much. anything else change today? caffeine? etc?
-
I also use tahini in mine. it is VERY versatile. i like making my own because i have more control over the fat/oil. i just add more water instead of oil...not as good, but gets the job done.

i make my own or get sabra. it's a bean dip of sorts (garbanzo). lots of different kinds. i like mine garlicky. of the sabra versions, i like pine nut, original, spicy and roasted red pepper. i eat with reduced fat triscuits as a treat or with the occasional pretzel crisps. also good on sammies instead of mayo - it's…

i'm 5'6 and trying to lose - i've got about 100 to lose, so that also impacts how much you need. after being berated in a post on a similar topic, i visited with a nutritionist about what i need to consume. the more weight you have to lose, the fewer calories you can get by on in the beginning. but it also has to do with…

i used the patches. it didn't take away the desire, but it did lessen the b*&chiness. :) i had a friend who had success with chantix and another with wellbutrin. if you are opting to go cold turkey, rest assured the worst side effects generally wane in about the first week...and mostly gone by week 3. at that point, it's a…

oh, and i love to use chili flake and siracha.
-
i use soy, oyster, etc. but some of the pre-made ones aren't too bad either. just watch sodium and sugar content. i use fresh veggies and frozen. just depends on how much time i have. also, when peppers (red, yellow, orange) are on sale at my local market for like $1 a piece, i stock up. i pre-slice them and some onion and…

I'm 5'7. My high was 245 and my goal is to hit 120 just to say I got back to the weight at which i was most confident as an adult. then i'd like to settle in between 125 - 135. I have a pretty athletic frame and when i was in my 20's and lifting on a regular basis, i could carry up to 150 lbs and still fit in a size 6. i'm…

i've seen some of these responses though that border on bullying and people need to remember that when they type something, it lacks all the non-verbal stuff that we use to decipher meaning. "tone" as it were, often comes off as deriding, know-it-all, bullying. some people are sensitive or vulnerable and people need to…

No, I plan to INCREASE for every 20 pounds lost.
-
and i should note, that i do increase my calories as i get closer to my goal. i am aware of that and plan to adjust my calorie intake by 20-50 calories for every 20 lbs lost.
-
if you read my initial question it was asking for anyone who had had any luck hitting that benchmark. i didn't ask anything but that. that is all. and yes, 1000 cals is working for me plus exercise, but i'm not hitting the 3-5 lbs per week. my question is more of a mathematical one - what is the formula for calculating…

i'm currently 233. my goal is 125 - 130. i have a pretty athletic frame. more important to me than number is size. i want to be back in a 6. so if i can get into a 6 at 140, then i am cool with that.
-
i totally gained - but it was because of the oral thing. now, i chew gum, suck mints, sugar free hard candy, etc. not the best for you, but far fewer calories and a lot healthier than smoking. i feel so much better since giving it up 6 years ago. you can do it! and you can do it without the weight gain. the average person…

great work!!!

I'm down to 233 from my high of 245 on January 1. Also feel free to add me. I think you'd be surprised how many of us are here with a long way to go. :)

i've been on a stress induced binge myself. i just remind myself that tomorrow is a new day and that i really want this. that a day (or week) off the wagon doesn't completely derail my ability to succeed. is it a setback? damn right. but what's done is done - you can't undo it. but you do have the power to change tomorrow.…

i do have the diet down and i eat healthy most of the time. i NEVER eat fast food. and i NEVER eat processed food. didn't do that even before i started this journey. i have read too much about food and where it comes from. i am also fortunate to live in a state where i can meet farmers and buy what little meat i do eat…

must be my height (5'6) or taller. but i have a girlfriend who is 6'4 who dates anyone. it's a matter of taste.

low cal, low sugar, good protein - EAS Lean 15. I get it at Target and I use the chocolate with 1 c. almond milk, 5 whole frozen strawberries, 1/2 banana whipped up with 4 or 5 ice cubes. it's like a chocolate shake. i used to use a really pricey organic rice one from my health food store that was good too, but this is…

bump - i'll keep an eye for other ideas. also doing 30 DS. haven't been impressed with results thus far - but i'm only 2 weeks in.

totally their prerogative. i personally can't stand the burn of foundation and powder running into my eyes - but maybe that's just me. some people come for the workout, some come for the social hour. personally, i find it entertaining as hell that they think they are fooling anyone. but at any rate, as long as you aren't…

thanks for all the suggestions. will definitely be giving a few a try!!! :blushing:

and i should say, my not eating much bread is not because i'm doing low carb. i just generally don't care for it.
