I think it looks like you've lost more than 13 lbs, I'll bet you've put on a lot of muscle! You look awesome! Way to go, keep it up!

Thanks for the info Kaybee, I guess that makes sense!

I just have to reply to this thread because I've been getting this a lot lately. Giant schnauzers are NOT terriers! (Now you know. haha!) They are working dogs. We used to have a mini schnauzers so I know the difference! My question, though, is do Staffie-bull terriers and Bull terriers act like other "terrier" breeds?…

Duchess Adams N.B. I lived on a farm, we had lots of animals.... Brown Ears, Black Ears, Duchess, and Spock were some of our cats. Horses: Flame and Lady. Goats: Nova Zone, Bossy, and Heidi. Dogs: Wolf, Mork, Wicket, Molly, Sunny. Tons more that I can't remember!

LOL I tried to get it on there, but couldn't do it either..... Very nice weight loss! How much have you lost?

"Dust mites cannot survive in the warm, dry conditions of an unmade bed." Hubby is highly, highly allergic to dust mites and never makes his bed. When I make the bed I always leave the bottom untucked cuz that's the way we like it (my toes need to breathe! Haha)

Woo hoo! And I love your profile pic, what a wonderful change in you!

Don't Shoot! I'm Just the Avon Lady.... in your pants. The Companion of Lady Holmeshire in your pants, and Instant Self-Hypnosis in your pants Bwahahahaha!

I can't say that one. And for some reason, "comfortable" always sounds weird when I say it. My friend is having troubles with the word "proprioception" so that it comes out like "procreation". My 11-yr. old always says "Aminals" instead of animals, even though I've corrected him and practiced with him. Hubby says "death"…

Couldn't have said it better myself! I know it gets discouraging, the day-in and day-out of always having to watch what you eat, and you don't see the results from day to day But it is SOOOO worth it! Keep your eyes on the prize (your health). Don't sacrifice what you want the most for what you want at the moment! Love ya…

Wow, you look hawt! I am jealous...

Sorry I posted twice!

Love this! My current weight is 206. My projected weight in 5 weeks is 197. I can't wait to get into the "Onederland" but it seems like a shimmering light that keeps getting farther away the harder I try. So we shall see! ~Jess

Wow, you look so beautiful! And you can see it in your face, too (from your profile pic)--- more confidence, looks younger, just all-around awesomeness!

Can you do crunches on an exercise ball?
-
This is making me really jealous! I am 5' 8" almost, and I was very happy at 165 to be in a size 12. At 227 lbs I was busting out of my size 18 jeans. At 207 lbs I am pretty comfortable in my size 16s. I suppose if it takes me long enough to get back down to 165, and the dress sizes keep getting larger, maybe instead of a…

Way to go! And the fact of the matter is, does anyone really CARE what someone else weighs? Other than my hubby, of course, who was somewhat surprised (and dare I say disgusted?) that I weighed almost 30 lbs more than him, even though I'm 2 or 3 inches shorter. But that's a rant for another day.... What is "The Evolution"?

Your body needs fuel in order to run properly. Please, it doesn't even cost $4/gallon, get some healthy food in there for it!
-
Never. But figure after a couple of years of logging the same foods, I'll have a pretty good idea how many calories things have, so I might be a little less fanatic.

There's a book by Paul McKenna called "I can make you Thin" that has an excellent hypnosis CD included. It seemed to work for me for about 5 days or so, then I don't know what happened. He has a gorgeous deep British accent that alone is worth the cost of the book! Even better, there's "Instant Self-Hypnosis" by…

Maybe the smell of the disinfectant in the kennel? Try washing it out with soap and water. Also, throw in a towel that she will sleep on, or a T-shirt of yours. Take the new bed out of the kennel to see if the bed is the issue.
-
Congratulations! You make it look so easy! LOL. It's amazing what exercise and healthy food can do for your body, isn't it? Enjoy your success, you have EARNED it!
-
Wowee! You are so beautiful, what an inspiration! And in answer to your question, NO. The journey never stops.

Mine seems to be fairly accurate, but I'd go more for the trends than the actual numbers. As long as the numbers are going down, you're doing fine!
-
LOL! I've been married 18 years and I also feel a little weird commenting on guys' posts. Now it doesn't bother me as much, but I guess I'm just old-fashioned (or I've been watching too much Downton Abbey, LOL!)

Thanks for the replies, everyone!

Yes, they work for MANY dogs. I have lots of friends in rescue with multiple dogs and they use them pretty frequently. I don't know if it will help your Dane with fear of wind noise, but I would give it as try. You could also try wrapping him in an Ace bandage wrap in a figure 8 (over back, cross under stomach, between…
