I'm 5'11" and my goal between children was 170lb/77kg, which I reached. Am now 178lb/81kg and would like to get back to my original goal. I also cannot imagine being much less than 167lb/75kg, that I would feel/look too thin.

Then: * A bowl of pasta or four slices of toast for a snack occasionally * Huge portion sizes * No measuring * Cheese on a lot of things, and a lot of it * Potato crisps (chips), chocolate, cakes or biscuits daily, or at least most days * Some exercise but nowhere near enough to compensate for the calories in * No…

I was on it for a year after the birth of my son. I had no discernible side effects. I was on it when I began on MFP, and most of my kgs lost have occurred whilst on it. I stopped it a few months ago only because I want to conceive again at some point. My weightloss has slowed in the last six months, but I don't believe…

I deviated from the C25K program once it got to the 20 min straight run, and began adding 2 minutes every run thereafter until I managed 30 minutes. It took me another 2 weeks to manage 5km, which was two days ago in 39:53. It was painful afterwards! Today I tried again, was only 9 seconds faster, but managed to do it over…

I was 7, he was 6 when he arrived at my school. Lived on same street in small town, ignored each other through high school. I wanted someone to hang out with in our pub over summer during a break from uni, he was the only one I knew in there when I walked in. That was about 8-9 years ago, now we have a son, and a house in…

1. What Week/Day are you on? W6 D3 (of Run 5K app) 2. How do you feel? Great. 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? No 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? Not today. It was supposed to be my first 20-min-straight run, but I was overeager and tried that already a couple of days ago. This was at…

I am in W4 of C25K. Before I began, I'd already been doing 1 x boxercise class and 1 x spin class each week for 9 months. The spin class especially helps loosen up any leg pains from running and it's low impact. The boxercise usually works my top half harder than my lower half, so doesn't clash too badly with running.

1. What Week/Day are you on? W4, D1 2. How do you feel? Great, because I managed it, but stupidly disappointed that I actually was slower on average per km, than when I was walking 2, jogging 2 last week. Need to stop craving the approval of my Nike + Running app telling me I am breaking my own records... 3. Have you had…

It was a good place to start for someone like me, who was very self-conscious, afraid to exercise in front of other people. The small setting, women only, helped me gain confidence. However, I did not lose any weight there and it soon became a bit boring only because it was not challenging enough for me, and like others…

1. What Week/Day are you on? W3 D2 2. How do you feel? Pleased with myself and my body for not being sore 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? No 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? I run for last minute of final two-minute walk 5. Do you notice something different about yourself yet? That I look…

Having to repeatedly read the word 'Obese' typed under 'Risk Factors' on my medical forms after giving birth to my son and wondering if the circumstances of his birth had anything to do with my weight/fitness. Plus, he sucked all my pregnancy weight and an extra 10kg out of me by breastfeeding in the first six weeks - that…

I have two sports bras from Target (same bra, two different colours) in 16DD and they are the best sports bras I've ever had. Granted, I've never shelled out for some better quality brand ones, so can't compare, but these so far have been great for me. I use them for running, boxercise, 30 Day Shred, any exercise.

1. What Week/Day are you on? W2, D3 2. How do you feel? Good, but daunted by what's to come. 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? No 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? I ran the last minute of the last 2 min walk. 5. Do you notice something different about yourself yet? That I still am not…

No, it's the opposite for me. He eats his dinner, then I eat mine and he wants some of it.

1. What Week/Day are you on? W2 D2 2. How do you feel? A bit sore in some muscles but not sure if that's from boxercise last night, or from running 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? No 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? I ran for the last 60 seconds, because I felt able. 5. Do you notice…

1. What Week/Day are you on? W2D1 2. How do you feel? Can feel the slight 'tiredness' in my lower half but feel good about myself 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? No 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? No 5. Do you notice something different about yourself yet? Although I do not find it easy…

I am 5'11'', currently 84kg (185 lb). My goal is to get to the very top of a healthy weight for my BMI - 80kg (176 lb). Anything below that will be a bonus, but I won't be working madly for it. I am actually pretty happy with my current appearance, have spent a few months plateaued at this weight, am fitter than I've…

Hot chips, pizza, cheese in general. Never realised how much cheese I enjoyed adding to everything until I had to measure it out. Still, oven bake chips, homemade pita bread pizzas and reduced fat cheese (and less of it) are generally doing the trick now. It's only the cheese that haunts me now - I still struggle with…

Agreed, doing this has been very helpful for me.
