If i cleaned my house everyday, i wouldn't count it. But, if you saw my house, you'd know that I do not clean nearly enough. If it's something you don't normally do and you feel it in your body, i say count it. It's movement and calorie burning!

Mean/stupid people SUCK. And there are plenty of them out there. I hate that happened to you. I am certainly one of those people who feel like people are looking at me. Maybe i will get up the confidence to participate in a 5K soon!

I am 5'8" and 220 (big build). I was thrilled when i bought a size 16 (regular) at Old Navy last week. Sizes have most definitely changed. I have some clothes from Express and The Limited that I bought 20 years ago in a size large and they were 'normal'. YOu go in there now and the size large could fit my 50 lb 6 year old…

I just hit 40 in January. It is so much harder to lose after 40. But i KNOW it can be done! We are older, wiser and more motivated. I have made a lot of friends here on MFP with the same goals/age. GREAT support to be found here. Feel free to add me as a friend if you want.

HI! I joined WW in early January and discovered MFP a few weeks later. I have to say I LOVE the support here on MFP. I've also found some great support on WW (online). They have me at 34 points. My start weight - i am going back to October 2011 (my highest) when i was 240. When i joined i was 231. I am now 220! I am also…

Like many of you, i am also on WW (online) and MFP. I use the mobile apps sooo much. My membership on WW lasts until like April 4. I may renew, not sure yet. I love the online support here on MFP! One difference that makes me like MFP better is that it tracks my calories, sugar/carb/sodium/fiber/protein intake. I…

I love finding similar folks on here as me. I was 240 at my highest last year, started on here at 231. I am 5'8" tall, just turned 40 last month. This is going to be my year to get trim and fit! I love this site. I have found so many supportive friends here on MFP. Feel free to send me a friend request. :)

Gabby, you are certainly not alone! Obviously! I have been as high as 240 and I am 5'8".
-
I totally agree! We can hide 5 lbs a lot easier than some little petite thing.
-
According to this site, I should be somewhere between 120 - 160 lbs. I am over 200 now so I am setting my goal for 160. When I get down to that, we'll see how I look. I think 120 is way too low for someone like me who is 5'8" with a big frame. But like we have all seen here, we are all so different. I want to look good,…

I just turned 40 and have a 6 yr old daughter in Kindergarten. I still want another child. Yep. I'm crazy. :noway: I think losing weight will probably help me in my quest. Plus i just want to be healthy and set a good example for my daughter. Feel free to send me a friend request. I see others here that are similar to me.…

Folks who were never 'blessed' with big breasts at a young age don't realize that you don't lose them when you lose weight. You can lose the fat around them, but the boobs are still there! I actually had a reduction in 2001. When i got home from the hospital, i was 15 lbs lighter!!! The surgery was SO worth it. I admire…
