I'm guilty of doing it every day. I can't stand it. I know it will flucuate but I need to know how it is going and adjust what I do.

I have messed up too. I usually just get back on my diet and exercise a little more.

Welcome and good luck in your weight loss. It has worked for me being able to log my food and exercise. I was shocked at the calorie content of some of the things I was eating.

I'm a little over 5'5. My current weight is 163. My doctor told me he would be satisfied at 150. I'm a size 14. I carry most of my weight around my stomach. I'm shooting for the 150 and then I'll see from there. After 3 kids I'll never be a skinny person.

I participated in the Forget Me Not 5K to support Alzheimer Research for my mother in law. I jogged some and walked some. I did it in 44 minutes. I wasn't last. I know that's not very fast but I was proud to participate and after knee surgery.

I notice that I do the same thing. I'm losing weight while eating low fat meats and watching my diet. I'm not too worried.

We eat at Cracker Barrel. I have ordered green beans (60) turnip greens (98) baby carrots (80) as sides. The grilled catfish is 120 per filet and is very good. My splurge is a biscuit. My son loves the chili cheese fries. He is thin so can eat what ever he wants. I use to get a buffalo burger but I think they discontinued it. Last time I got a chicken sandwich. I forget the fries and drink water. You can eat there and stay within your calories. The toppings bar is great though.

Get out of the house. Go for a walk, go get a manicure or pedicure, ride a bike. Ideally getting out and finding something to do helps.

I upped my calories from 1200 to 1350 a couple of weeks ago. The first week I lost 3 pounds. This week I lost 1/2 pound. So I'm not so sure. The middle of this week I upped my walking from 30 minutes a day to at least 60 minutes a day due to school being out for summer break. We will see if I continue to lose.

Pear shape weight is carried around my stomach weight 163 height 5'5 size large in shirts and wearing a 14 (but I haven't tried anything on in a while)

In the South it is a sign of respect. I was raised using it and my children were raised this way. Even in our school the children use it many times. It could be a lot worse like honey or sweetie.

I weigh every morning first thing. I know it will go up and down some and that's okay. It makes me more aware of how I'm doing. I log weight in on Saturday morning.

I have been using myfitness pal for 130 days and have lost 36 pounds. I know that I will always battle my weight because I have done this before and gained it back eating what I wanted, when I wanted and little exercise. I have to make a life change. Working in education people seem to view you differently. I don't have a problem with tatoos and many are awesome. However I would be very careful. People expect people in education to dress and act a certain way. Even being out and having an alcoholic beverage can been seen negatively. Just my observation in the South.

I'm 5'5 and my goal is 150. My doctor said he would be pleased with that. Then I'll see what I do.

I would like to loose 15 pounds. I am 3 away from my first goal and 13 away from where my doctor would like me to be. I can do it I know. I am off for the summer and am walking for an hour each morning plus watching what I eat of course.

MFP is a great site. I have been logging in now for 115 days. It really makes me aware of what I was consuming. People are commenting about my weight loss now at work. Good luck!!!! You can do it.

I think people who see you every day don't notice as much. I saw someone who hadn't seen me in a long time and her first comment was about my weight loss. Hang in there. People will notice.

Kellogs cracker chips are awesome. I eat them instead of regular chips.

I have used it when it was by prescription and later as over the counter. It helps because if you don't watch your fat intake you will know it. I really watched my fat and lost weight. I maintain a low fat diet now without it and am loosing weight just fine. I know someone who took it and thought they could eat what they…
