I swear my son had the same teachers for kindergarten and second grade! If only we could take her to third with us next year  This frustrates me to no end! I bet these are the same idiots that take contagious children to other peoples houses but complain when their child catches something from someone else. edited for…

My baby brother turned 21 this weekend... so obviously not quite the loss I was hoping for but a loss is a loss. Down .6 to 173.6

He still plays me, but now it's my fault for letting him... :blushing: That day I turned around and went back was the end of it. He saw me, realized he'd been busted and it just stopped. He had become comfortable with "Nana", was making friends with the other kids and had finally figured out I really was coming back for…

I completely agree with 100% of this post. When my son started daycare (also at 2) he screamed and cried and begged me not to leave, he would stand in the window, beating on it and yelling for me, it was awful & it broke my heart. I cried the entire way to work (and for a while after I got there) for several weeks. One day…

My son & I are doing a two mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, here's hoping that gives me a little wiggle room for my mashed potatoes!
-
Mashed potatoes. I love mashed potatoes. They're not just my favorite Thanksgiving food, they're my favorite food group.

Dear boyfriend, You are amazing and intelligent; you work so hard and are so good to my son and myself. I hate picking up your socks, but I love it when you pick my son up from school. I’m tired of doing the dishes, but thank you for taking the trash out. Yes, I remembered to record Futurama, thanks for not complaining…

I haven't actually given up anything. I still eat burgers, but they're homemade turkey burgers. I still love boneless wings, but I don't bread them or fry them like BW3's does. When I make sangria I use flavored sparkling water instead of fruit juice & sugar. I don't drink much soda anymore, more because I don't like the…

I'm good with it too.

Nope, only $45. I'm on the list twice.

Ladies (and gentleman), I'm afraid there's only 9... I'm on the list twice.

I replace 1/3 of the sloppy joe mix with fresh pumpkin puree and sometimes some of the turkey too. I love pumpkin! I just made vegan pumpkin cookies (47 calories each!) and my 7 year old, my bf & his Army buddy ate ALL of them!

Pumpkin sloppy joes with ground turkey :)

You didn't end up naming your daughter Dylan did you?

Honest, I named mine after a character in a book I read in the 4th grade. The Baby-Sitters Club: Logan Likes MaryAnne. Edited to add: The poor kid!

Logan

1. I did not name my child after after Wolverine, no matter what his father keeps telling him. 2. I have a slight obsession with MFP. 3. The idea of balancing my checkbook gives me hives, that’s what online banking is for. 4. I also get them when I'm stressed. 5. I get up at 430am to run at least 3 morning a week. 6.…

I grew up on an Air Force Base (thanks daddy!) and in the company of SO many who were serving/had served. Here's my list: Paul Brown, Ted Brown, David Brown, Joshua Brown, Matthew Smith, Randy Cloud, Brandon Cloud, Kelly Ward, Maxine Gerlach, Chris Lane, Debbie Wright, Christina Pancake, Jeff Pancake, Chris Mezger, Liz…

LOVE this idea! Thanks!

I want a food scale, a treadmill, running tights (as I'm currently running in bf's Army silks...), and Santa to pay my entry for The Flying Pig Half Marathon. A little birdie has informed me that I'm Santa though...

Me too!

Dinner is always my heaviest calorie meal. I've tried spreading my meals/snacks out evenly but I tend to fail. I don't really think it matters that much as long as your meals are balanced and nutritional. As far as protien- scrambled tofu is super yummy! And my kids LOVE dinner for breakfast so we have cold spaghetti…
