Oh my goodness, I seriously laughed out loud. Nice one.

Different exercises burn more. I can walk for an hour and only burn 150 calories. Or I can go at a moderate pace, moderate resistance, high incline on my elliptical and burn way more in a shorter amount of time. So really, its about efficiency. You can burn 500 calories without working out for 3 hours, it just comes down…

Congratulations on your progress! You should be proud of that! I think a lot of things factor in: what kind of clothes you wear, your height, how much you need to lose, where your body loses fat first, and how you are built. I am short, small-framed, and had about 35 lbs to lose. People started noticing after I lost 6 lbs.…

Seriously, that is awesome. I think its wonderful that you took a not-so-great experience and used it to better yourself and your health. You should definitely be proud of what you have accomplished. You look amazing!

Is your trainer in communication with your OB about losing weight? I'm curious since its generally not recommended that you diet or lose weight during pregnancy. Or has that advice now been discredited?

About you laying on your back and then being in pain- I am not sure how far along you are, but its not really recommended that you lay on your back for more than a couple minutes past 20 weeks... the bigger you are and the further along you are, the less you should be on your back. It puts a lot of pressure on major…

Hey, its important to be comfortable in pregnancy- good rest is just as important as exercise and good nutrition! With that said, my husband got me a Boppy body pillow for Christmas. I love it, and have slept with it literally every night since. It has a spot to lay my head, which keeps me elevated because I have…

Chiropractor- that's my suggestion. I have frequent migraines, and having my neck/back adjusted is the ONLY thing that helps. Pain meds do next to nothing for me. I would look into that.

Running, no contest... Mostly because I just recently got into running, and absolutely loved it. And then, due to medical reasons, I was told that I may not be able to run again. I miss it so much!

Really depends on your preference. For me, I love almond milk. Different brands taste completely different, so try a couple. I like that it has a lot of calcium and few calories (the unsweetened kind I use only has 40 per cup), and it doesn't upset my stomach like cow's milk. I've read a lot of questionable stuff about…

I really can't wait to see if my labor will be much easier this time around since I am soooo much more active than I was with the first two. This gives me hope!!

I still exercise for 20-60 minutes 5-6 times a week. I do elliptical, stationary bike, and strength training. Beyond that, I do prenatal yoga that's specifically designed to open up the hips. With my first two children, I was not very active at all. I walked from time to time, but that's it. I am really curious to see how…

Keep in mind your long-term goals. Focus on the big picture. A few unhealthy choices are not going to ruin the progress you have made, so don't add to your stress by beating yourself up and throwing in the towel. Take a deep breath, and try to channel that stress somewhere else. Go for a walk, take a hot bath and read a…

As someone who follows a primarily vegetarian diet, I would agree. Don't just think you can skip the chicken and then not replace it with something. You will need to find other forms of protein. But don't worry- there are LOTS of plant-based sources, plus eggs and fish. Just do a little research and find what works for you…

Meadowgold (I think?) Snickerdoodle Ice cream... Oh man! I just tried it for the first time last week, and it was insane! That, and I really like Umpqua's Chocolate Nonfat Frozen Yogurt. Mmmmmmmmm

I got married at 18 (my husband was 22 at the time)... and we've been married 8 years.

You should be SO proud of your progress! That is amazing. Good for you!

While I am specific with many things, and "go with the flow" with others, this is all giving me great ideas. I like the idea of not announcing I am in labor, and just letting people know when the baby arrives. While it would be fun to have everyone on Facebook on pins and needles, I don't want my husband or myself…

My main thing I am doing to make me "more comfortable" is making sure that people aren't hovering, pacing, or coming in and out of the room a whole bunch. Those are things that tend to make me anxious, and I definitely don't need that. I probably won't bring any music, though I will probably ask for the lights to be dimmed…

People often act like its either or. You CAN be thin AND happy, too.

Don't buy it, and don't let anyone else in your house buy it. Sounds stupid, but if you don't buy it, you can't drink it. Worked for me- I haven't had a full soda (only a sip of my hubby's every once in a while) in probably 2 years.

I think my husband has more food cravings than me, ha ha ha ha! The other day he said, "I really just want some ice cream and brownies." Wait, who is the pregnant one again? Though I will admit, it did sound good! A while ago I was craving gas-station nachos like no one's business. My husband, being the great guy he is,…

Here's what I do when I need a good pasta fix: I steam a bunch of veggies, and cook a little pasta. Then put the veggies in a bowl, top with pasta, and pour a little sauce over the top. Its healthy, you eat less pasta, but still get your fix. Also, try spaghetti squash. When cooked right, its absolutely delicious!

Grapefruit! Sometimes I get hooked on baby carrots.

It's not weird at all, considering tons of people post about their rings being loose on their fingers after losing weight. If your hands can hold extra fat, then your feet can, too!
-
Thanks for the sites- I will give them a look. The only problem with stuff marked "sugar free" is that it has artificial sweeteners in it, which we are trying to avoid.

Make mini baked oatmeals ahead of time. You can find lots of recipes online, and you can customize them to what you like! Then just warm them up and go!

 I'd be nervous, too! That's impressive if you can take out a man of that stature in your sleep. I wouldn't wanna mess with you when you're awake  It just goes to show ya, different things work for different people. I don't like it when people say you HAVE to do it this way or that. It's going to vary so much…

Ha ha, your husband rocks! Can he teach my husband a thing or two about cloth diapering? I just think that is SO cool when husband's are involved like that. I am really encouraging my husband to be more involved in the whole "baby thing", but its so against how he was raised. But he's a good sport.

You'll find people for and against, and you'll find research for and against. I co-slept with my kids sometimes, but never with a pillow or blankets near them. I also made sure they could not fall out or be rolled on by my husband. Sleeping with them near my head seemed to be safer to me, since I wouldn't cover my head and…
