  • I woud actually go for the 10k. Your 5k time is not at all bad and in a race situation you would probably go better than 35min. But a 10k is generally not run as fast as a 5k in terms of overall pace and you have 5 weeks to work towards the endurance! Go on give yourself a challenge.... you know you can do 5 already :)
  • If you have a few months this should be loads... If you've been out jogging a few times already you could do C25K but maybe start at wk 2 or 3. This is a 9 wk program and you could go straight onto bridge to 10k, which is a 6wk programme (I think).... start now and you should be ready for your race for life no problem...…
