I just had to share, I ran 3 miles in 30 minutes today at the gym! Granted it was on a treadmill without an incline, but still I couldn't run a mile in 15 min 2 months ago. Happy Columbus Day all!! Good weigh in for me, 2 lbs down. Still on track even after a bad Saturday off the wagon. 1st birthday's are rough, especially when your too busy to eat a balanced lunch and the snacks you made are great.

I am also a nursing mom but I do not log my "nursing" calories. I do not, however, have to worry about my supply as much b/c my baby is 10mos (so not a baby anymore) so it may be different. Man, 2,000 calories sounds like sooo much. I'm not good at taking the middle road (eat nothing or eat everything) so this will be a learning experience. Thanks for the input!

Don't feel bad about craving a fun night of drinking every once and a while. As far as food during the day, I would go for low calorie foods that pack a punch. Soy burgers are good with a slice of fat-free or 2% cheese, low-fat wheat bun, spicy mustard and some good dill pickle slices make for a satisfying "drinking" meal.…
