In general, they suggest eating every 2-4 hours, which works out to 6 meals - 3 meals and 3 snacks - per day. Even if Im not feeling particilulary hungry, I try to eat something little every couple of hours just to help keep my metabolism up.

I tend to get ankle pain on the inside of my ankles. The ground is less forgiving than the treadmill which is likely why you're feeling the difference. I'm training for my 1st half marathon in the beginning of May! I've run smaller races - 5K, 10K - and completed a duathlon (2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 5k run) 2 summers ago. I always need encouragement getting my butt to run, so I'd love to help motivate you as well!

I know Weight Watchers started counting anything you drink (even alcohol, I think...) as water. I still like to get 8 cups of water in each day because I feel like it keeps me full. But if you're only getting 7 cups of water in each day, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I was a WW member for a few years off and on and did well with it, but this last time around was not having any success - and I was even making the meeting leaders scratch their head. I'm hoping this helps me as well - I don't want to go back to weight watchers OR pay so much $!
