  • I don't remember what I started at but I am horribly stuck and Plateaued at 160.0 Frustrated, but not giving up or in. Waiting on my body to pay attention to the changes I'm making and catch up with the rest of me that's ready to move on.
  • ... you have ever fallen asleep in a toddler bed only to wake up and discover the kid is now in YOUR bed asleep and you've been snuggled up to the dog and piles of stuffed animals for the last hour or so... (just happened) .... KNOW that you are too big for toddler furniture, but "sit" on it anyway because they really,…
  • Oh my gosh! Thank you all so much for the funnies this morning. Just what I needed:happy: A couple of my own: ~You actually utter phrases like: "Stop sniffing the dogs BUTT!", "No, you CANNOT poop in the yard like the dog. Thanks for asking though.","If you HAVE to pee in the yard, do it on the flowers. Thanks!", "You…
  • Still no change. :grumble: Suppose I should be glad there's no gaining going on with the crazy weird that's been going on over here since the beginning of the month.
  • Question..... If the dress already fits, then why do you need to lose overnight? If it's a "bulgy" issue, some good drawers should fix that right up, don't you think? Makes much more sense (to me) to buy proper under clothing for a dress than it does to starve for a day and try to become a sponge....... Just curious. But…
  • ^^THIS! Oh, and they would need to do windows too....
  • It's a big "Dislike". Had it happen a couple times when I was at my smallest. Very obnoxious and disrespectful.
  • ^^ THIS! My husband & I get teased (literally!!) when we go places with our married friends because he ALWAYS does this and I automatically step to the inside away from traffic. We're known as "The old Couple" even though we're both in our 30's!! He also asks my order and relays it to the wait staff when we go out AND…
  • 160.0 No loss again this week. Seriously, nothing excuses this. Getting very frustrated. Upped the calories and activity level (not on here, just in life in general). I've got zilch to show for it. Oh well. Maybe next week....
  • Belting out an Oscar Mayer song. Works wonders!!
  • Holding steady at 160.0 Should see a decent drop next Monday though. SO excited to see how much!
  • Try chopping some incredibly small or pureed and adding them to other foods (like that pulled pork a couple days ago? If I was making it for my picky eater, I'd have tossed in some super chopped spinach and told them it was a spice  ). It works pretty good for most veggies, AND 9 times out of 10 it doesn't freak out…
  • Can't narrow too far, but if I had to say movies that I'd be content to watch for the rest of eternity I'd pick (in no particular order): The Stand Australia The Edge Dances with Wolves Cold Mountain Shawshank Redemption Green Mile The Patriot The Quick & The Dead (Sam Elliott in the Louis Lamour version)
  • Oh. I am crying from laughing so hard!! These stories are priceless! A couple from my "midgets": Driving in the car one day discussing future jobs they'd like to hold.... Daughter (at the time, age 10): When I grow up, I'm going to be a prostitutor. You know? Because they get paid to argue and that's my favorite thing to…
  • 160.0lbs this morning. Wonderful loss of 0.4lbs. I blame Sodium, lack of gym time and spending the last 2 days scrubbing things around the house that I see no point in scrubbing but the Realtor says they need to be super clean (Do people REALLY look at the sidewalks that hard?!). Anyway. This week will be more of the same.…
  • I LOVE it!!!! :drinker: Good for you!!
  • Seriously LOL'd at that....
  • 160.4 Doing my victory dance for the week:drinker: Next week? Hel-lo 150's hopefully!! Goal for the week: EAT!! No matter the stupid schedule. Eat silly woman. Eat.
  • Are they heavy?
  • Good plan! Let us know how it goes?
  • Serious?! I think this is the best news EVER!! I was told that I "Need to change that stride to avoid shin splints", but I've never had any pain from my "weird" running? If it's a non issue, I'm just going to let it alone. Been eyeing those 5 fingers, but just don't know that I can afford any right now. Maybe next…
  • I feel your pain. Mine is backwards. I like to lift things up and put them down and HE likes the treadmill, elliptical, track, etc. We have come to an agreement. It goes sort of as follows (when he's home): Arrive together. Do our separate things. Meet up & leave together while discussing the fun gym rat things we did.…
  • Dear Me @ 16~ Don't change a thing! I love the way life is turning out and if you screw it up, I PROMISE I'll kick you right in the teeth. You hear me?? ~Me
  • I was told that sprinters (short distance) land forefoot first and "Real" runners have more of a heel-toe motion? LOL. My problem is.... I've never run with SHOES before now. I have a thing against shoes. If I can get out of wearing them? I'm all over it. But, at the gym (where the track is) I have to wear shoes :frown: So…
  • Things I learned at the gym this morning: 1) My son is the daycare bully and is on "Probation"- meaning one more write up and he has to take a 30 day vacation. Which means I'll have to have one too  2) My name is NOT "Grace"- Meaning, I HAVE to learn to pick up that stupid left foot when I run or jog or I risk falling…
  • No specific "Loss" goals this round. Just started an 8 week Women on Weights course yesterday and got my full measurements (glad I wasn't the only one that cried about the numbers) and I would love to have BOTH the BMI & Body Fat % in the "Healthy range" by the time it's done. Since the class comes with a set schedule and…
  • I am down from the week before (Thankfully!) 3.8lbs, but I only count it as 2 since a holiday bumped me back up. lol. Getting there. Just have to keep reminding myself I didn't pack it on over night, I'm not going to peel it off over night either :grumble:
  • You look FANTASTIC! Very well done:flowerforyou:
  • Never have I ever.... ~ Stayed awake on an airplane. (My father was getting his pilots license when I was very young and "Nap time" was his regularly scheduled fly time. So, even today, once the engines cycle up and we taxi down the runway, I'm sound asleep by take off and stay that way until touch down at destination.)
