Thank you. :) There is no way possible that you are going to do juicing only for 30 days and hit your needed caloric goals, especially as a male. You're just not. Also, anything that removes fiber from the equation sends up red flags for me (I'm the biggest cheerleader of fiber around these parts).
-
Yeah, please don't.

So I got married last weekend, and amazingly I never had to juice or "detox" to get into my dress - which was purchased only 6 weeks before the wedding. 5 months is enough time to slim down a bit without being reckless with your health.

So they diagnosed you with an issue that is essentially lack of bowel propulsion and sent you home with pain meds that can further slow your bowels down? Were you seen by a legitimate gastroenterologist while in the ER? You need to go to a different ER and be seen by a GI because at this point you're likely going to end up…

I looked the place up, and it is only a 10 bed facility. I'm betting it wasn't cheap at all. It makes you wonder about typical care as this place is certainly not your run of the mill inpatient treatment facility.

I was unaware we had such a decent facility here in Reno that handles EDs (and from the looks of it other aspects of mental health as well).

Restraint and special events are not words I put together in a sentence. Thanksgiving I will enjoy as last Thanksgiving I was just being released from the hospital and was barely able to eat as much as a 2 year old. :P

Start with getting your calories in order first. Work on it from there. Do you end up being consistently carb heavy and really low on protein at the end of you day? Slowly work on adjusting them so they are more balanced. Not even those who have been here and doing this for literally years are spot on with their macros.…

Juicing them means you lose the fiber, also you lose the whole process of chewing them (which is where the digestion process starts). I personally need that fiber being on a medically advised high fiber diet, and the process of chewing food is part of what helps me feel satisfied. You could juice and drink 2 dozen carrots,…

So uhm, Valium can cause constipation... not so sure that's exactly helpful for your initial issue. O_o
-
You don't want this problem. I'm one of the resident diverticulitis people here, and I lost part of my colon because of it. My GI still isn't sure how or why it happened to me, but I'm going to put all my chips on "I ate like crap in my late teens and early 20's and crapped bricks, or didn't crap for days on end"... I'd…

Unless you are using a heart rate monitor (and likely the chest strap variety) then you will not know exactly what you burned, and MFP is only making a guess based on averages and your information. Those who DO have such HRMs at their disposal have noticed a discrepancy. So to err on the side of caution it's generally…

You're 25 years old, so I'm going to go with this is not the best bet for you. I'm 34 and 5'6" and I have myself at 1460 calories and lightly active - and then my FitBit adjusts on top of that. I average 10k-13k steps and receive adjustments of 300-600 calories every day I move like that. As others have stated around the…

I heard the word gelato and came running. Last Saturday I had lunch out followed by a doughnut at Dunkin, and I was under my calories for the day (barely, and my sodium was out of hand), but I was still under. :P

I couldn't handle fish while pregnant with my oldest. Just make sure you're eating plenty of protein and iron rich foods, and without fail run every last bit of it by your doctor to make sure you stay as healthy as possible. 15 pounds gained in 20 weeks seems totally normal and unless your doctor indicates concern then…

I lied. I'll comment again. You act indignant that I told you to STFU and go see a doctor, but you can tell someone to GTFO? Bye Felicia.
-
This is the last time I will be replying. Please seek professional help.
-
Strike what I said. Please seek medical attention for yourself, and I'm not talking about the chicken.
-
Maybe that commitment over freaking out about raw chicken isn't such a bad idea... because you're being more dramatic than my pre-teen at this point. This is going beyond obsessed and into crazypants territory. I find it hard to believe that someone with a serious medical history would be in a situation where they cannot…

You can't fix a stretched out rubber band. That's kind of what happens to your skin when you get stretch marks. There's no going back. My stomach looks like a jacked up road map. It is what it is.

Well, when you puke all over the classroom they'll let you go then I'm sure.

I love salmonella in the morning. Seriously. That's your biggest risk. If you're not sick tomorrow you're likely going to live.
-
If it's Kerrygold though it's all mine. I'll keep that in my freezer. No one gets my Kerrygold. NO ONE! But seriously though. That's a LOT of freaking butter.

I'm at 220 sticks lost. I wonder how Paula Deen would feel about that. :P

I'm still at a loss as to how people manage to time that. I'm over here trying to count my steps and breathe at the same time and then I trip and have to lay down and cry for 5 minutes.

+1 For me I know that I need to hit my increased fiber (which falls under carbs in terms of macros) so I focused on that one first since it is something that I was instructed to do by multiple medical professionals. After that I work on protein because I realized that was my lowest one consistently. Greek yogurt, cheerios,…

a 5 gallon jug of water (40 pounds), a 10 pound bag of sugar, and a 5 pound bag of flour.

What? 15 minutes of lifting things that are not heavy isn't going to do a thing. If anything she would *want* to lift heavy. Doing so while eating at maintenance (recomposition) would give her more of the results she's looking for more than likely. OP, while the picture you posted isn't the best to go on, I'm going to…

Crap. I never got that memo. No wonder The Man looks at me with such disgust after I walk out of the bathroom saying "Daaammn, don't go in there for awhile". :#

That would be my guess.
