try them, you'll like them. ask your Dr. about the commit, I swear by it, to me it has all the benefits of smoking without the toxic chemicals.I started with a half o tab 5-7 times a day, and in 3 weeks I was down to 2 or 3 and then just said no more, never felt physical withdrawls, it was great. also, my husband quit 6…

I did the same thing with the smoking" it's like we are the same person" I finally used the Commit lozenges to help me finally quit for good. they are the best aid ever. I really new I had to quit, but didn't want to, and so I tried them and it worked without much pain at all. I am now happy to be a non-smoker-"most of the…

i gained 5 lbs in a month when I tried to switch from regular to diet soda. I ate more and the taste wasn't worth it. so I went back to regular and the lbs just dropped off..but as all good girls and boy should do.... I gave up daily soda's over 3 yrs ago, I have one every now and again and i enjoy it with all its calories…

it might be hormonal, is it that time of the month? you might be burning more fuel than you think. I say you should find something to eat that has substance,protein/fiber, or you'll just nibble all day and then really go over your cal's for the day. and if your already planning a big dinner, maybe plan on portioning a bit…

my trainer also said yes to eating your calories. you need the fuel. also when you signed up, did you put down that you are active,? it makes a difference on how many calories you need in a day.

I have been going the same way,no loss and it took about 6 weeks of working out and changing my diet until I finally lost 4lbs in 1 week. It was like I had to get through, muscle verses fat, water weight, salt and that time of the month before I saw a little drop of the scale. I have only been here for 1 week but I feel…

I did a bit of ice last night, I'll do some more today, I'll also do a bit more stretching, thanks for your thoughts, all suggestions are welcome. I can't imagine running as far as you do, but would like to try to get close to that someday.

thanks, I was thinking the same thing yesterday, should I or shouldn't I? It is so tempting to not eat those extra calories in hopes that the weight will come off faster, but, I'm in this for the endurance not just a quicky fix, I;m really looking forward to doing it right this time.

hey, does anyone else have problems with slightly swelling ankles after running/walking?I 'm not sure if I'm taking in too much salt or if this is just normal. I've only been walk/running for about 8-9 weeks and this is the first time I've experienced this. I did up my time this weekend to 60-80 min. I'm taking today off…

It's great to understand that you don't want to eat that way, "but if, and when, we all do, "you must remember this day will pass and begin again tomorrow. don't beat yourself up. life is short and the road is filled with temptation. If we were all perfect all the time there wouldn't be any use for websites like this. have…

Good morning all, good job GTOgirl, Sat can be so hard to get motivated, I wish I had a treadmil, but I live in southern Cal and live right next door to a park so I just can't find a good enough excuse to put out the money, but I'd love to have one for days like today. I am waiting for my "night owl" family to get out of…

I've had few friends go on the atkins, all lost weight, but the minute they tried to add carbs back into their diet , their weight skyrocked right back up and they were worse off than when they started. I'm not a fan. also saw somewhere they said that messing with to few carbs makes your body not process them as it should,…
