how about soup? Anything that's mostly broth or you can put a lot of soups through the blender. I can't imagine trying to live on jell-o and ice cream or even yogurt. I would sweet out.

I'll weigh myself, but if I don't like the number I won't log it.

No, you should not. Aunt Flo is a fact of life, not a reason to stop. You need to at the very least take a nice, brisk walk. It will make you feel better and help counter the chocolate that you are going to cave in and eat later.

Yep, it sure is.

Mine isn't very nice. The initials are, "JFDI" The J is not for Jesus. One of my MFP friends goes, "Bikini, bikini, bikini, bikini" whenever she is lacking motivation. I like that one.

I'm with those guys, do something else for a while. You are having a little burnout. Just don't "do nothing". That would be sad.

LOL!!! Maybe I'll give it a shot. I don't really want to loose any weight, but I wouldn't mind going into Thanksgiving with some wiggle room.

I made this while I was sick recently and it was awesome. Chicken Tortellini Soup 1 pkg frozen spinach 1 can tomatoes with Italian seasoning 2 big things of low fat chicken broth 1 med onion 2 cloves garlic the meat from two chicken breasts (I used rotisserie because I'm lazy) 1 pkg DaVinci Tortellini with Parmesan cheese…

Many times the hardest part of the workout is finding the motivation to put on your workout clothes and get to the gym/ out the door.

I'm guessing week. I would also like to hear his plan. I won't join, but I would love to hear all about it.

I gained weight over my last illness. I found brownies in the fridge, I had to have hot and sour soup, I couldn't move, I was living on orange juice. I am hoping that its not real weight and it will drop back once I get back to exercising like I usually do. A pound and a half usually doesn't show up over a single weekend.

I think a lot of us guzzle water. I drink coffee or tea sometimes.

Perhaps if we ate our young....

I'm not going to lie to you. I'm going to eat everything and I'm going to smother it in gravy while I'm at it. I'm cooking and I am a damn fine cook and I don't get to cook that way that often. I'll worry about it Friday. (more like, I'll worry about it the following Tuesday, when its time to weigh in.)

You always take a big old walk on Thanksgiving, then, you just eat. I personally try (TRY) not to overfill my plate by taking to much of anything. Also, have a veggie platter somewhere on the table so that when you are sitting around the table drinking coffee or something, you pick at the celery instead of the stuffing.…

I don't. But I'm pretty sure its because I get too many calories from beer. See I just shared that. I may as well make it public, and yet, I will not.

You have hit a "set weight". I have one at 142 and then again at 132, both, by the way, are in the healthy range. I am guessing, even without knowing your height, that you are also in the healthy range. The body gets stubborn and also, your birth control could be part of it, but mostly I bet that you aren't overweight at…

When I am in this situation, I opt for a adult beverage. Is it the best choice. Probably not, but they are my calories and I will do with them what I want. (evil laugh)

Great job.

Go ahead and bring something healthy. No one will care.

exactly.

Store it someplace hard to get to.

You pimento cheese and ritz crackers. OMG, yum. I find it helps to put stuff in the freezer. It won't work with crackers, but it does with chocolates. You have to take one out and let it thaw or break a tooth. Also, I bet that if the freezer filled with containers of frozen pimento cheese, your wife would quit buying it. :)

Shouldn't take more than 12 minutes or so if the oven was hot. You want the fish to be white, but not dry. I'm sure its too late now. I hope it was tasty.

You could cut your head off. You could do something like the cabbage soup diet which mostly dumps your water weight. I don't recommend this for real results, you will gain the weight back in the next couple of weeks and you will weird out your metabolism. You know, this post reminds me of High School. My brothers were on…

I make that kind of stuff at home in healthier versions. It scratches the itch quite nicely. You do know, that just because you are trying to loose weight, food doesn't have to be tasteless and or rabbit food. Its a great time to experiment.

Weigh something that you know the weight of, like a bag of flour, and see if its accurate. Scales need to be calibrated. Also, the is no telling how old the scales are at your parents house.
