Thanks girls! Day 2 complete. I think this calorie counting thing is really going to work. Amazing! Wish I would have known how to do this a little earlier! lol

I agree about the tea thing - a great way to get in enough water. I drink herbal tea because I can't handle much caffeine. 3-4 cups a day is so much better than water!

I'm right there with ya! I heard a couple of months ago that if you have really bad PMS then you are probably deficient in essential fatty acids. I have been taking 1 tsp of high lingan flax seed oil with my breakfast every morning and I swear my PMS has lessened. If I didn't live in such a sunny climate I would take fish…

Pamela, I went to this site (your quote below) as well and it was just some weird fisher site. Any ideas? It sounded really good! i have also followed the meal plans on abcrunch.com each week it is a different menu with a shopping list to go along with it. that way i know i am getting 1200-1400 calories each day. over a…

Hi Natasha, How frustrating! I agree with the other girls - I think that you should try to mix it up a little. I like to walk too. I do 2.5 miles every day and most days I try to go really hard but if I'm really sore or something I go easy but make sure I do the walk regardless. Lately I've been adding in some calisthetics…

Hello. I have a raw food cookbook and like someone said there is a lot of dehydrating, blending and sprouting required to go raw. It is very time consuming. I would love to do it but I don't think I have that kind of time. It's really a way of life. I know some people who have done it and they look amazing! I tried a raw…

Hi there, I am a chef and I know that store bought bread has tons of sugar - at least the packaged kind that lasts about a week does. They use it to keep it soft (sugar, corn syrup, honey, molasses etc.) so if you're making your own bread then you are saving there for sure. Good for you! I don't have that kind of energy!…

I eat really grainy or seedy bread that I get at Whole Foods with some fruit spread with no added sugar (like apple butter or fruit juice sweetened jelly). I feel like it's better for me than some packaged, sugary thing and it's really filling and feels like a real meal. Good luck! Amber

Hello! I'm on my second day and I too was stunned by the amount of calories I ate my first day! No wonder I've gained weight! I can't believe I was so clueless all this time. I thought I was pretty good. I'm in Los Angeles and totally understand the Mexican food craving issue. My favorite taqueria is right down the street…

Hi Janet, Just joined myself. I used to live in Montreal. What a great city - a little chilly in the winter though! Good luck with your goal. I'm right there with ya... gotta lose that fat! Cheers, Amber

My first day too and I did exactly what you did. I thought today was kind of a light day for food for me but whoa was I wrong. No wonder I am overweight! I'm glad I joined now. I am very into nutrition and I can't believe I was so misinformed about calories. Amber
