My husband and I have been on (5 day) 5 crusies. We love them and yes you can pick and choose healthy food. Yes it is a 24 hr buffet. Plan to eat small during the day and save your big meal for dinner. Fabulous dinners. Then go dancing to work it off. I hope you have a good time.
