I am recently starting over as well. I am the heaviest I have ever been, which is up 30 pounds from my low last go round. I didn't realize I had gained that much until I was deleting my weigh in entries from the past. (I wanted my ticker to show my success vs my failure) I am right there with you. I have three kids and…

I have never been a slow loser in the past. I lose as long as I stick to it, but if I blunder I gain super fast. So, there's a reason it's good to lose slow. I too have been on here awhile. I YOYO a lot. I will get down to a weight I feel good at (even though it's still not my ideal weight) then I stop working at it & then…

I love having to buy new clothes - granted I work from home so my new "wardrobe" costs me like $50 max. I would dread having to replace suits, ect. I understand comments of success stories. That's tough for me as well. I am happy for them, but it makes me feel more of a failure that I can't figure this out. I feel like my…

using MFP I would average under 1 pound a week. I just switched to TDEE - 20% & lost almost 2 pounds my very first week. My workouts haven't changed since I started a month ago. I am never hungry now either. Hoping it keeps up. Best of luck to everyone

I just did this as well. Curious. If I use the TDEE #, does that already include workout calories? Do I eat those back?

I have been putting my time in the gym lately. I haven't been tracking the miles, but will start. I would guess it's been 8 miles this week...
-
I dropped 5 inches since starting 1/7/13 (this includes all my measurements) I am not a runner... but this week I actually tried running on the treadmill. Sunday I could only do 2 minutes before I was ready to die. Yesterday I made it 5 minutes.

5'6 and 176 as of this morning. My goal is 135, but that's just a #. To me, my goal is to feel better. I am a mom of 3 (14, 9 & 4) I do in-home daycare. You would think chasing after all of the kids would keep me fit... NOT. I just started the gym 10 days ago. So far so good. I did really well on this site a few years…

I am fairly new to this journey. Well, actually I have been here before but for all the wrong reasons. I lost from a size 14 to a size 8 but never understood "the journey" I just wanted to lose the weight for an upcoming vacation. Once the vacation came & went I went back to my old ways. Sure it took me some time to get…

feel free to add me. I am in the same boat. I did really well before then let life get in the way & added almost all of it back on. I am starting over, day 9. Currently at 176 & also want to get down to 135. I am a mom of 3 & run an in home daycare. Totally get the same challenge of eating habbits. Daycare food is simple.…

I'm in. I prefer classes, but like to warm up on the treadmill beforehand. I get at least 1-2 miles in. Once it warms up here I will take longer walks outside.... Typically 5 miles a day.

A day late, but it's done

We all feel that way from time to time I'm sure. I agree with polarexpress above. There is always a silver lining even if we can't see it right away. At least now you can focus all your energy into YOU and the next time you see your ex you will be smokin :o)

Well, I failed at this miserably. I just started working out. After my first Zumba class yesterday & my first Turbo kickboxing class today along with a 25 minute lifting session... I am so sore. It hurts to sit/ stand. I am dreading climbing up the stairs to get to bed. I will attempt again tomorrow.

Can I join? I am a yo-yo as well. I did fantastic for our summer vacation 2 septembers ago. Got to a size 8 (160ish) had a blast, ate too much & never returned to MFP once we got home. I was doing really well there for a while, but then the pounds started coming back. I have another vacation in March. Not the summer, but…

Feel freeto add me. I'm looking for the same thing. Someone who can motivate me, hold me accountable & support me through this. Would love to find someone to reach out to every day to help support each other on our journey

PICK ME!!! I am in the same boat. I did great on MFP, then I slacked off. I had a goal for an upcoming vacation. Once I got back home I never returned to MFP. I did great at first. Then the pounds started coming back on. So, now I am back & ready to stay. Looking for support buddies for motivation & accountability.

I am in the same boat. I do really well, then let life get in the way.

Feel free to add me. I fell off the wagon & am now back on... with super glue as good measure :o) I did great on this site before. I met my first goal (size 8) then went on vacation last year. I told myself I would get back at it once we got back. NOPE. Life got in the way. I was able to maintain for quite a bit then I…

I would love to have a journey buddy. I was successful a while back, but have since let life get in the way. I need the support & encouragement from others to keep me motivated... and ACCOUNTABLE. Any takers?

Feel free to add me. I am a busy mom of 3. I do in-home daycare and find it just as hard to find time for me even though I'm home all day. My kids keep me busy. 5 nights at dance, 2 nights at choir... plus the competition season is soon to begin for each which means weekend travel. I have been a member for a while. I did…

Busy mom here as well. Mom of 3. 2 girls 14 & 9 and a 4 year old son. I run an in home daycare & stay super busy with kiddo activities. My girls dance at the local studio and are on the competition team. This has us at the studio 5 nights a week. My oldest also does show choir at school which is 2 nights a week. I feel…
