  • Thanks for the thread. Thinking of getting the husband one for his birthday coming up but am clueless to them as I just map out my runs on Daily Mile. Thanks for all the feedback - never would have thought of checking BJ's for one.
  • Thanks for the replies! I never got notifications from MFP that someone commented so just coming back to this group now to see what's going on. :) Thanks for that website...I'll check it out. I agree with the toss of the food - I can't just throw it away! Luckily my cabinets are pretty bare now and most of the stuff is…
  • It doesn't matter if you don't "run" the whole thing. Listen to your body - if it wants some water or to walk for a minute or two, let it. If it wants to run the whole thing, let it. There's been 5K & 10Ks that I've stopped for water/walking and I've managed to run 1/2 marathons and even a marathon without stopping. It…
  • Those are much better victories than some stupid number on the scale.
  • I did the 82 release yesterday at the gym. It was pretty good. I was just getting used to 81 too.... 79 is my all time favorite. Thought the bicep track was much easier than 81. Triceps was pretty fun.
  • Great job! You're doing awesome! Keep up the great work!
  • Ginger Nation here!
  • I have the same problem. As of now, I just enter Body Pump as "Aerobics, General" which is about 413 calories for my weight. I doubt that I burn upwards of 650-700, but I do sweat a lot during the class - so 413 is pretty accurate for me. I wish there was an option to enter the class in strength because I use the class as…
  • I think it's a mixture of both of me. I am more the beer person - one or two a night - but every night and that equals up to over 2100 calories a week (if I'm drinking the good stuff). On the flip side, I never eat dessert - so I can think of it as my dessert :). Some days I have no desire to drink, other days, I want one…
  • This is great for me - since I have about 7 pounds to go. Starting Weight on 6/1: 152.8 Goal for 6/30: 147.8
  • Ran 81 miles in May and did 122 miles in total (adding bike, elliptical, walking, etc.). Good for me!
  • Hi Amy - I don't have any solid answers for you - but all I can say is that I completed my 16th week of doing Body Pump 2 or 3 times a week and I'm only down about 3 pounds. Not sure if I read your post right, but you're doing a class 5X a week? I think that might be a bit much if you are looking to shed pounds. If you…
  • Just did Boston's Run to Remember Half on Sunday. Other upcoming races: Warrior Dash 5K - June 10th in CT Southfield 5K - June 21st in Weymouth, MA Squantum 5 - June 28th in Quincy, MA Nahant 30K - September in Nahant, MA NYC Marathon - November 4th
  • Weymouth here. Just ditched Weight Watchers and hoping to lose the last 10 lbs on my own.
