I've bought a few things at resale and consignment shops. Works for the interim, until I get to a size I plan to stay at. I've also got some clothes that I previously bought that have been too small for a long time, but are now fitting, so it's kinda like getting new clothes...lol

I do it all the time. Alone. Because my friends are either married/coupled up, and/or don't have the means to travel with me. Like Janie, I don't find any difficulty in meeting people when I do, or enjoying my own company when I am alone. Number 5 & 6 on that list are the most true for me.....LOL.

Not just you...this is kind of depressing. I'm about as jaded as one can be about getting married, given some of the stuff I've seen here and among friends, but I still want to give it a shot. I don't have any clue what my chances are, but I'm at least open to the possibility of greatness :smile:
