Wow, this sounds amazing! Definitely giving it a try!

Fruit (fresh or frozen) Yogurt Smoothies Flavored Sparkling Water Those are some things I try out first when my sweet tooth hits. Sometimes that will cure the craving. If not, try looking at a site like "Chocolate Covered Katie". She makes really healthy desserts and you can control how much or little sugar (and what type…

I can't recommend these enough! They're delicious, filling AND have a good amount of protein without breaking your "budget". =)

Pretty much this. Nope, nope, nope.

Maybe look for some sort of crock pot recipe that would help it reabsorb liquid?
-
Awesome! Thanks so much!

oh hot wings are in regular rotation for me...not sure I wanna share them....lol. Kidding...good call! =)
-
Great suggestions, thank you! I get stuck on the initial idea, but once I have one, I can absolutely run with it! These are all things I can run with. =)

I had my gallbladder taken out a few years ago, and while there are always going to be times when things seem to go right through me (pardon the imagery there...lol) for the most part, I find that my system is handling things BETTER now than it did before. I don't know if it's the type of fats that I'm putting in my body…

I manually set my calories and macros to better fit with the paleo/primal guidelines (C/F/P = 25/40/35), but also try to keep my caloric intake around the same amount MFP says I'd need in order to keep losing. It's only been about a month since I really started trying to adhere to this way of eating, so I can't say I've…

Awesome advice! I'll have to try that! I have never had collard greens before, so I'm hoping they don't taste bitter like kale.
-
oh...haha, you're probably right. Didn't realize that was going on today! The more I post in this thread, the more I realize how out of the loop I really am...lol
-
LOL...no, I wasn't calling anyone out Rach, just something I noticed when I was looking through posts today! you too!
-
haha...me too. Honestly, the whole thing makes me think of an old school marm when I see it, but I think I've just read too many stories/seen too many movies that make it look that way. Clearly, I should be watching more porn
-
Yeah, I know what you mean about pics with glasses on...they can be tricky! =)
-
Ah....it proves just how clueless I am that the librarian thing didn't even come to mind...lol. That makes a lot of sense now. I can't believe I didn't consider that

 agreed! Lovely picture of you!

I had almond crusted tilapia twice last week! It's amazing. You rub the fish down with dijon mustard, then coat it in crushed almonds with salt, pepper and paprika. I tried subbing in almond meal, and for whatever reason, that didn't work as well as just bashing up some almonds with a rolling pin (I don't have a food…

^^^ This is what I do as well, or for things that won't freeze well, I tend to make a couple of them at a time and switch them up over the next few days. I cook this way for two reasons: 1) I'm lazy....if I'm putting in the effort, I want it to pay off more than once, and 2) energy/fuel conservation. Every little bit…

Ah......That would probably work! I'll have to try that. ooh that sounds good! That's a good idea as well. I was mostly thinking portability, but I could always throw it in a bowl as well I guess! =)

I have tried green leaf lettuce and find that it just doesn't have the right shape to be a good conduit, but maybe I'm doing it wrong...haha. It is definitely a heartier leaf though, and I like it in salads. If anyone has a good suggestion on form, I'm all ears! Great suggestions for content! A BLT sounds like a really…

These ideas look fantastic! I want to try them all =)

Probably an unpopular response here, but I don't really like sleeping naked, unless I'm not sleeping alone. When I'm by myself, I sleep in pajamas....they just vary based on the time of year.
-
Great find! Thanks! I'm just starting out with this and can use all the ideas I can get my hands on =)

Go with what the HRM says. I waited about a year before I bought my first HRM, and I was grossly overestimating how many calories I was actually burning by going with what the machine told me. Someone once told me that the machines are calibrated for men of a certain height and weight range, so even if you put in your…

I think of any coach to make a move like that, Pep has one of the best chances of replicating his success. Whether or not he receives the level of backing and financial security he did at Barca remains to be seen, but Bayern are a big club with big history and I think he'll do very well there.

I don't buy his "It wasn't intentional" line. He was frustrated and took it out on that kid. Granted, that kid shouldn't have put his whole body over the ball, but kicking him wasn't ever going to solve anything, was it?

I waited until mid-evening to go, and it was still really crowded. I was able to get a machine right away though, so that was good. Still, it wasn't the one I really wanted to use and I've rarely had a problem getting the one I want every time I go in. I'll keep going later throughout January I think and then check back in…

My birthday is 3 days after Christmas. I'm lucky if anyone remembers, let alone gets me a gift.

I don't believe you.
