Thank you for your input (both of you) I lift weights too in order to build a little muscle in the process. Don't want to be skinny fat. I want to be fit.

Right around the 20pound mark and then every 20 pounds someone else will notice

Do you use a food scale? I found that I was over estimating my portions and didn't really loose until I started to measure my food.

You look like a totally different person. Great job. You even look years younger. May I ask, Do you have a lot of loose skin? I am worried that I will loose all this weight and just have sagging skin. I was 234 at my heaviest, right now I am at 186 and change, still have a ways to go. I am about 5'1. My hubby lost 50lbs…

I have at least another 40 to go, maybe more depending on how I look at my goal

I worked with a personal trainer for a year and even she was dumbfounded by my slow weight loss.

I have been fighting with my weight for the last 2 years. It comes off really slow. Any of you are free to add me as a friend. I have had some success this year but I go up and down and really start to get discouraged if the scale goes the wrong way.

Buy a food scale and weigh everything! This helped me get off my plateau.

You look great. Thank you for the pics. Great Job!

I agree with the logging. I know I have said this before but I think I got my weight loss started again because I weigh everything (then log it in to see how I am doing)

You have different counts than the ones the personal trainer gave me. Keep us posted on your results please.

Do you have a food scale? If not get one. They are really worth it. I found that I was overestimating a lot.

My personal trainer had me doing this. I did not lose weight this way. Don't get me wrong. Every one is different. My body just seems to loose better if I have more protein and less carbs. I was on 179g carb, 80g protein and 39g fat. lost .5 pounds in one month. I have since gone back to more protein less carbs and have…

Hi I am not new but just starting to figure out the buddy thing.

I am right there with you. I was 234 to start, got down to 180 and stopped paying attention back up to 195. Having a hard time getting it off. Making sure I drink all the water and log everything. Really would like to loose that last 50 pounds. It just gets harder as I get older.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep up the good work

I started out in Jan 2012 at 234lb, was 180lb April 2013. Stopped tracking and put back on 15Lbs. I have 53lbs left to reach my goal. Please count me in. I really enjoy the support.
