Just google the results for your state, as it will vary highly between regions and divisions. What will win a state title in Ohio in Division III won't get near the podium in California Division I.

If your pH was out of whack, you would be dead. The human body does not tolerate changes in blood pH well. Someone is just trying to sell you something.

You don't really need anything for a half. If you haven't had it on training runs, just go without. The last thing you want is to find out at mile 8 that those power gels really don't agree with your stomach. If you have trained with water, drink that during the race.

I mostly agree, with the caveat that jumping into speedwork without the muscle/joint strength built up to handle it will increase injury risk

Yup, as others are trying to say, inaccurate logging is your problem You can overhaul your entire lifestyle, but wouldn't it be easier to just accurately log your food? People can gain weight on keto too. It all comes down to the calories you are consuming.

Wait, I do have a question. Yesterday, before the thread poofed, i got as far as the OP claiming she could run a marathon, then saying she couldn't do it all in one go (duh), then saying she ran xcountry but that she was unsure of the distances they ran. So my question is..
