  • I'm looking for support and friends, too. Feel free to add me :)
  • Beautiful girl!
  • I'm just a hair shy of 5' 11". My lowest weight as an adult was 139 (in my mid-20s). Even then, it was probably only for a day or two. I have to work HARD to stay below 150, so it's likely not reasonable anymore. My current goal is 150. Right now I'm about 166.
  • Can you add me to the group? (losing weight to get preggo) - I don't know how to add myself. Thanks! (mcwhit)
  • That's a great goal!! And I can relate. A combination of fertility meds and two pregnancies (that ended in miscarriages), left me 25 pounds too heavy when I got pregnant with my son. And I gained too much with him. He's 15 months now and was totally worth it, but I'm not happy with my body..... I've like to get off another…
  • I'm faster than the guy on the couch. (when jogging slow which has become my fast :))
  • Good point! Yes - body type and frame size are a huge consideration. It's fun seeing all you tall ladies out there. I wish us all the best of luck!
  • Thanks for the responses, ladies! My goal weight is 150. My thinnest, I was around 140. But that was incredibly difficult to maintain. (And I was in my 20s.) Now, at 37, I'd be happy below 160. I've been a lurker for a while, but am excited to be on this journey with everyone. I need all the motivation and support I can…
  • First of all, you're really pretty. So you shouldn't be so hard on yourself! Secondly, someone once told me (after I expressed how slow a runner I was): "Hey, you're faster than the guy on the couch." The point to that is: at least you're out there doing something!!! That's more than most people can say. Keep at it!
