Seriously ... Everything this guy says. He is awesome and knows his stuff by heart. If you are workin out lots and need to build muscle you can use protein for this. If you somehow can't get your protein quota through the foods you eat, change your foods. If you still can't then use powder For everything else it is…

That is 100% awesome. The best NSV I'm read to date. I know how difficult that could have been for you but the fact that you just went and DID it shows a huge amount of progress and strength. I am very proud of you.

Thank you both so much! I recently increased my calories from 1200 to 1390 and noticed that helped A LOT but the night hunger is still there, just less often and less intensely. I really must try to eat more veggies and the Greek yogurt before bed sounds great - I actually just bought some yesterday. I'll try both of these…

Hi Chloe! I do swing dancing and Nia too. I love to dance though I don't do it professionally. Please feel free to add me!
-
I'm 29 and halfway to my goal . I don't have too much to lose but am finding it tough none the less. More friends is always great so feel free to add me!

In terms of eating protein so as to feel fuller at night-time/ after my evening meal and to thus help with wieght loss what do you recommend? I'm not looking to take protein after working out (Though might consider it after my weekly dance practice if I have it around). Mainly I want to lose weight, not bulk up or build…

I love, love, LOVE Nia! It's an awesome low impact workout and I come out of it feeling so much more energised and pumped than I go in. A workout that makes me sweat, tones me and makes me feel great afterwards - YEAY!

Super good luck on your mission goal - we'll be here supporting you every step of every run - you CAN do it! I mean... of course you can! Why not? - You have willpower, drive, and a body that will do what you want if you push yourself. You'll be running in no time and for those difficult days just turn to us for a boost!

I've been thinking a lot about protein powders recently. I must see what is available near me. I want to get something fairly natural.
-
I think a daily weigh in would show too much fluctuation for me, so once a week- 7 days apart- works well for me to have a good change to note.
-
Great! I've just added you and we can log together! I don't step on the scales at all during the week as I think once a week is enough. It seems to be working so far with a consistent 1 - 1.5 pounds coming off each week!
-
Thank you so much for this! You pretty much answered all the questions I was thinking of asking!
-
Oooo dropping to a target loss of 1 pound a week gives me an extra 190 calories a day to work with a day. I think I'll go with that. Man - 190 calories more - I feel like it's Christmas!
-
It's currently projecting that I "normally" would burn 1890 calories a day so eating 1200 now would project me to have a weight loss of 1.4pounds a week. I must look to see if dropping that to 1 pound a week might help and give me a little more comfort room in terms of calories.

My food diary should be viewable here now: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/Pihjin

Just made my diary public - I hope that helps people. I don't log my water in case anyone is curious.

Unfortunatly I live in Ireland and we don't have Sarah Lee bread but I'll see if we maybe have something similar. My food diary should be public already - I know my friend's can see it anyway... let me go make sure. Sorry if it's not. I thought it was. Thanks for you help everyone - I'll have to look into milk and cheese…

As everyone is saying - it might be too hard for you now, or so your think, but if you think about it your boyfriend is adding stress and pressure to you - instead of being comforting and supportive like he should if he loves you. Your body is your life and you will get fit and healthy if it's right for you. Never do t for…

Thanks so much to everyone who added me! It's nice having support as I go through the days!

Complan can be bought in Tescos and Supervalu etc. (I live in Ireland). Sounds similar to Ensure but with more vitamins etc. I hope you don't have tetanus!!!

-
Oooo I love ferrets! So cute. I wish I could have one but I can't have pets at the moment.
-
Buy some complan. It's a meal replacement drink for people who have gone through surgery or for whatever reason can't eat solid food. Liquidize thick hearty soups too.
-
Thanks cversey! Making this whole experience fun and easy to do is key for me. If it feels too serious or like hard work I'll be more inclined to give up so my ticker helps :)

Judging by your great smile in your profile picture I'd say it matches your personality well!
