Question is....how can you UNsee these things?

Ha, me too - I stopped doing yoga for a while and lost the flexibility in my shoulders. This is just a test of how flexible your shoulders and arms are - my hips for example retained most of their flexibility even with the break in training. I'm working on my shoulder flexibility now, but finding it is much slower than any…

Just broken up (whooooo!) and I'm excited about all of the time we'll have now to go out and do stuff  That was a really long final term and I found it got in the way of my workout routine - especially that last week, it really is exhausting isn't it!!? I'm currently tapering for a big event this weekend, so…

Yeah, see - that's what I'm RPing as I'm running ;P Haha ^^ this link is brilliant, thank you  I also have to confess to being an RP runner

Ah that's brilliant, thanks Hermann! :) I'll keep on the straight and narrow nutrition-wise and dial back the intensity/duration of what I'm doing. Thanks for the helpful response! :)

My heroine!! And ladies....the MENs weight room? Get in there and show them how its done

Its an interesting one this - I don't personally think so, because you CAN do something about it. I do happen to think it displays a lot of markers common to eating disorders - especially with the co-morbidity to depression, but again, that's not a reason you can't do something about it. People always have their reasons…

Hi :D My real-life friends and family are sick of my fitness talk, but here I get away with it xD

Hey! Great to hear you're here and that you've had some awesome inspiration already! Good luck! This site is awesome if you're ready to commit, it has totally changed my life and my outlook on life :)

It's been a while since I attempted a challenge and I need to crack down....can I come play? :) :flowerforyou:

This thread makes me all kinds of hungry... *drools* Totally a nice tube of squeezy cheese to start, a good macaroni cheese - with several different types of cheese for main, with several different kinds of cheesecake for dessert. And maybe a slice of keylime pie and some cheese and biscuits. With a load of full-fat coke.…

I take an hour of lessons every week at the moment, looking to increase that - did two hours this week and I ACHE lol! you're right though, it's so costly - I'm hoping to get to the point where I can either apprentice to train others or have a pole of my own and only go to lessons once a week or whatever to keep…

You look amazing, well done :)

It's hard to look at your snack baby, but you have cookies, so share them maybe?

Yo, signing on up for strong, proud lady friends! :) I weight train (as heavy as I can go), I pole (amazing for strength!) and I eat. Usually anywhere between 1900-2500 calories a day. I also don't believe in "bad" foods. Yeah, I'm one of them.... Come play - I have some really good friends but am always looking for…

Gday all :) nice work here!!

Omg, this one. One of my collegues was telling me the other day the reason she won't lift anything above a 1kg dumbell is because she doesn't want her muscle to turn to fat if she stops.....she's an educated woman, surely people know cells don't morph into other types of cells... The other one for me is "bad foods". What…

you'll get into the swing of things before you even notice it - remember, it's to build fitness, you don't have to have it before you start!! And names....hmmmm.

At first I just ran as much as possible in the time gaps! You don't have to do exactly what the app says and you can repeat weeks as many times as you need to :) I actually ended up skipping a week because I'd made so much progress - the app is really good for beginners :) And Zombies Run = love that app xD

C25k is a fantastic programme - have been thinking of restarting it after I stopped running (from injury :(). I could do with getting back to running either way  And Geen - I don't know what you'd classify as "unfit" but when I first started (over two years ago now) I couldn't run for 30 seconds, was around 200Ibs…

Totally this. Do what you're comfortable with :) Personally I'd wear the shirt, but that's really a public health service with the amount of flab I have :P And honestly surprised at how many women would put a shirt on just because they're told to  ETA: Wow....I seem to have missed a load of responses...respect…

You don't HAVE to do anything. Try and change the way you speak to yourself. You're doing it because you want to be pain free and live a healthier life. You don't HAVE to lose weight, you want to to improve your life. If you keep telling yourself you don't want to do it, you have to do it etc you'll just come to resent…

This rocks - huge well done on your loss :) Great job!! And you're right about the lurkers....I was a lurker, there is always someone who will listen and take the advice :)
-
Now I think I might know who you mean! Lol! Yeah, she was super scary. I never knew whether she just didn't log anything but the drink or only had the drink....

Aww, I feel like I've missed out here  I don't have any good deletion stories - I usually only delete for inactivity, over-activity (i.e. I don't see anyone else), being a whiney snot or lack of interaction. Or if you've rubbed me up the wrong way. I don't like that. I got deleted once for joking that there was a…

Oh that grin bottom right....how cute! I'm getting all kitteney-fever now, lol xD

Reporting for duty. All I really need now is a lead for my cat and a walking stick. My furbaby's name is Dave. I'd have more but the hubs "had to cap the animals somewhere". Pffft.
