Ive had a sts and a gain in the past two weeks.Ive not been able to exercise and have been way under my daily cals.So i kinda know why.I intend to try and do some exercise and eat my 1200 cals a day.Lots of veg ,salad and water for me for the next 7 days!! Add me as a freind and we can see how we both get on xx

I was on it for migraines and i did put weight on.But that was down to me eating the wrong things.Try and keep to your diary. I did experience hair loss too.It came out n handfuls so i came off it.What i would say is,give it a try for 3 months and see how you get on with it. xxxx

if you drink more water the body gets rid of it,because it knows its going to get more.If you dont drink a lot of water the body will hold onto it because it doesnt know when it will get more....thats how i look at it anyway xx

This is good advice, lots of water and lots of fibre will get things moving again. And try doing different exercises. No alcohol and try decaff coffee and tea.Caffeine is in my experience bad.I hold onto water when i have a lot of it x

I too live near the moors in Yorkshire!! Best place in the world !! as for walking your children in the cold,i agree with a lot of you.Wrap them up and make it interesting. If you have one take a digital camera with you and get your little one to take pictures of things as you go.Give him a list of things to look out for.xx

I cant do a lot of exercise due to a few slipped discs. When i do exercise i dont eat those calories.I always try to cover half of my plate with loads of veg or salad or have some fruit after a meal.Plenty of water too xx Good luck x

Hiya, I agree, more fibre and lots of water. At least 2 litres a day.Try and get half your plate covered with veg or salad with every meal xx

I had a Mc donalds the other week.I have to say that after eating healthy for a good month i couldnt believe how salty it was.Plus it didnt fill me at all. Then came the inner gurgles..... To me,it was an education.I wont waste my calories on **** like Mc's again. So as long as you log it,go have one.You may find it…

I think you have to go with what you are comfortable with.If a pound a week suits you and your lifestyle,i would say go with that.some weeks you may lose more! The pressure to lose 1.5lbs a week can just add to the pressure on you and you will get frustrated and throw in the towel all together xxxx

I would be honest with myself and try and guestimate the calories.Even if its way over it will give me an idea and then i could balance it throughout the week.Try and eat loads of veg or salad with your meal and plenty of water.Breakfast try and go for porridge, with dried fruits (its scotland they are bound to have…

I call mine tiger marks...or badges of honour.I have a lot of stretch marks from weight gain and being pregnant over 20 years ago.I dont have a problem with them at all.To me they are a sign of a life lived. Most men and women have them. They fade over time but they will never go away.Learn to live with them, they are part of…

I just stopped one day, drank plenty of water or herbal teas.Didn't have any problems with headaches or feeling cack.Go into it with a positive attitude.Haven't had caffeine for years now and if i do,like when i'm visiting someone and they make tea.I forget to ask if they have decaff.I feel dreadful afterward.Really sickly…

I would try drinking more water when you have your pain meds.,I'm no doctor but if you are bloating when taking them it would be an good idea xxx

I have to say that i can't exercise as i am bad with a few slipped discs.I am losing around 2lbs a week.I dont eat a lot of processed foods at all as they are full of salt.So the only advice i can offer is go fresh foods for a week.Fill half of your plate with veg or salad and try with steamed fish and meats.Drink loads of…

Ive been doing this now for 6 weeks and i am already feeling and seeing the difference.Clothes that were tight now fit great and in some cases are too big.Infact just this morning i walked past a mirror and noticed for the first time my *kitten* is getting smaller.Take measurements, drink plenty of water, plan your daily…

I plan my daily menu and try to stick to it.I always plan my day a few hundred cals short. That way i can swap and change if i change my mind as to what i want. Planning is really working for me,i've never really planned a full days food before, but have for the last 6 weeks & its working!.I am at home all day so its easy…

OMG!!! i had no idea about the meningitis thing.! Glad i am seeing my specialist soon!! I read that swimming helps to.I have hyper mobility so cant swim too long as i am extremely flexible (or was) in my spine.I have actually been helped out of a swimming pool by an elderly lady,as everything had locked up and i couldnt…

Hi,i have 3 herniated discs.I totally understand your pain.I had my first lot of injections a few months ago.The pain has eased a little but im still in a lot of pain.Today i have had to have the same injections into one of my hip joints as a side effect from me walking and sleeping in awkward positions all the fluid has…

I am under my calories on most days, but i am full and don't worry about it.I just reckon that tomorrow might be a bad day and at least my weekly average wont be affected.I've only been doing this plan for 3 weeks,so i'm still obsessing over low calories etc.I think if you had a week of eating 500 cals a day i would say you…
