Sometimes on Monday morning I will grab a loaf of bread, package of lunch meat, tomato, handful of lettuce, handful of spinach, and a cucumber and throw them in a bag. Then I have enough to make a sandwich every day for lunch and I'm not having to pack something every morning. I take the leftovers home Friday.

I can't see your diary, but you may be under estimating how many calories you are actually eating. Are you logging everything including drinks, condiments, butter, a bite of a cookie or brownie here and there? Do you weigh your food so that when you log a 4 oz hamburger, you know that is acutally how much you are eating?…

I joined a weight loss competition at a local gym...which included two group workout sessions a week with a personal trainer. My sessions were at 6am two days a week, and after the 12 week competition was over I just continued going on those days as it was already part of my routine. I gradually increased the days and now…

I am 30 weeks along. I eat 1900 calories per day plus exercise calories. you're welcome to friend me and look at my diary but I have not been the best about logging. I normally log breakfast and lunch and just kind of estimate what I have left for dinner. I'm still exercising 4 times a week, running, cycling, and doing the…

Everything. I absolutely love cottage cheese. I put it on top of baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, broccoli, fruit salad, pizza, yogurt.....

I usually have a bowl of shredded wheat with milk and sliced banana on top, or a packet of cream of wheat, yogurt, and an apple.

The last few pounds were definitely the hardest for me! It took me longer to lose the last 8 than it did to lose the first 60. What finally worked for me was increasing my calories. i was still trying to eat at 1200, plus all exercise calories (which I had been doing since the beginning) but I was starving all of the time.…

My opinion is that no one type of food is responsible for weight gain. I eat dairy every day, counted my calories, and had no problem losing weight

I love fresh fruit (usually strawberries, grapes, or pineapple is what I have on hand) topped with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

I have so much more energy to run around with my kids at the park...the thought of shopping does not petrify me...I no longer avoid the mirror on my dresser when I walk by...little things like this I never would have thought of!
