Agreed. I am not so much concerned about total sugar, but in added sugar. I'd like to make sure I do not take in too much added sugar.

I've been vegan for several years, before that I was a vegetarian for about 20 years. Any vegans with open diaries, please feel free to add me.

"Jogging" has a nebulous meaning. I don't not use it. If both feet are momentarily off the ground at the same time, then one is running. Otherwise, one is walking if one foot always maintains contact with the ground. In other words, if during your stride, you are air born at any time, then you are running. In walking, at…

Don't wear underwear when working out. Either I wear yoga pants or shorts with built in undies. My favorite are skorts with compression shorts built in.

Flax oil is a good source. It is one of the few oils that has more omega 3 than omega 6 (a 3 to 1 ration). Deva has a vegan omega 3 DHA/EPA pill soured from algae.

Sure, why not?

I also sometimes fall asleep in my work clothes.

Glad you are leading a good life. Your initial post appeared a little too extreme. If it works for you go for it. if it starts not to, go for something else.

I lost about 20 pounds and the snoring went away.

Me too, and I eat vegan.

Wow, I am a vegan and your attitude and dietary choices appear way too way too extreme. For me life is too short obsessing over food. Eat raw if you want, but some foods are better cooked (like spinach). I hope you have some interests other than worrying about the kind of foods you will be eating! Please don't let your…

I've lived in Japan. Of the many things I have noticed is that their sweets aren't as sweet as they are in the U.S. Mochi is one example of a sweet that I think is just sweet enough. Also people over in Japan eat white rice. I never heard of brown rice until I came back to America. Nutritionists in U.S. seem to love…

I didn't watch my portiion size and ate food that was high in calories and not necessarily that nutrious - white rice, pasta, cheese (when I wasn't vegan), and crackers for example. I also didn't exercise at all. I was very much a couch potato.

You look fantastic!

Kimchi! There are plenty of recipes on the internet. I would think you could use regular grocery store cabbage and not have to use napa cabbage. You also may wan to go easy on the spice.
