Home, settings, diary settings. You can also use the same page to choose which nutrients to track.

That is so funny! You are very creative!

... but I HATE ... FISH! Not that I totally hate it, but any type of seafood gives me migraines. Especially shrimp. The stronger the fishy smell, the worse the migraine. SO.... I stay away from fish.

Get the dried cranberries (Ocean Spray Craisins or generic) and add them to sweet potatoes as they are boiling. Or baked sweet potatoes! Just add a tiny but of low-calorie margarine and a dash of cinnamon. Mmmmmm....

Oh, and my father-in-law likes to stir-fry pumkin with a little butter, brown sugar, & cinnamon. Mmmmmmm...

One of my favorite for zucchini and squash is this: Equal parts zucchini &, yellow squash (cut into 1" cubes), grape tomatoes, and bite-size broccoli florets (about a cup each) Spread all veggies on a large cookie sheet. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, salt & pepper. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes, or…

Turn it around so it doesn't look like a guilt trip on her... ask her if she will work out with you because YOU need a workout buddy to keep you motivated.

You can go into settings and set iron as one of your tracked nutrients. But you have to pay attention... if it's low, it will still be green. Iron and calcium need to be in the red. Mine is logged as low but I'm not anemic. I do take supplements daily. Just put them with your car keys, or your toothbrush. Something you use…

Nuts!! :) Keep nuts on hand to fill in those calories. They are high-calorie "healthy fat" and good for your heart!

My mom used to make a low-fat cake by substituting different things for the oil in the cake mix box recipe. She tried several ideas, including: applesauce sugar-free instant vanilla pudding made with skim milk cutting the oil in half, and just replacing it with more water. I think the applesauce was the best!

I just looked it up... 25 cal/tbls! Awesome!

Have you ever tried the Smuckers low-sugar (NOT sugar-free) strawberry preserves? It has no artificial sweeteners, and it tastes like fresh cut strawberries without the sugary goop. Yummy! I have no idea what the calorie count is, but I used to buy it all the time.

The only stupid question is the one left unasked! Sounds to me like you are putting too much pressure on a nerve somewhere. Try redistributing your weight so that it's more evened out on your whole foot. Hope this helps!

There are Krogers in the south too, in Alabama and Georgia. Swiss miss is sweet and creamy. Sometimes TOO sweet!
-
I agree... but with graham crackers! I also agree that it's just sugar, and we don't really need it. :(
-
That sounds like fun! I might try it! Thanks!

Wow! My profile pic is me about 5 years ago, to motivate me to get back down to that size. I've gained about 20 pounds since then, and it's time for it to go away.

Something low-fat, low-carb should be fine. Those types of foods are better eaten earlier in the day so you have time to burn it off before it sticks. Fruits are a gread bedtime snack!
-
You should still be able to lose weight, as long as you stay below your BMR, but remember this: It would still be good to get some excercise... so you can build muscle. If you want a toned body, you have to work for it.

I know what you mean, Lori... I love wheat thins, but if I eat more than just 2-3 of them, it takes a while to digest and process it.
-
Yep!! I've been smiling all day! Yank 'em up and smile!! :D
-
Oh!! Good idea!! Thanks! There's a charity thrift store about 12 miles from here. Sometimes I can get stuff there for $2-4.00 each. Thanks for the reminder!

Sorry! That's an awful problem to have! Do the Dr's scales go up high enough? Maybe a factory or airport nearby has an industrial scale? Maybe if you could find one they might let you come and weigh twice a month or something?

I would guess it to be not cooked. A 16 oz bag of dry noodles is supposed to be 8 servings.

I just googled it: http://everydaydrinkers.com/2008/03/07/universal-measurement-the-shot-glass/ A standard shot glass holds about the same as a jigger... except a "pony" (small shot glass) holds about 1 ounce. The bigger one is called a double and it holds 2 ounces.
-
One shot would be about 3/4 ounce by my best estimate. I used to have a "jigger" which was a small measuring cup, just a bit bigger than a shot glass, and it held 1.5 ounces, or about twice as much as a shot.

... by lowering a few carbs. I think I can just about cut them in half.

Breakfast... I slept through that. (Had a really rough day yesterday, worried about my daughter's asthma attack.) Snacks... Nature Valley sweet & salty nut granola bar. One peanut & one almond. I like the peanut better. :) I also had about 3/4 cup of boiled salted peanuts. And a few m&m's. Lunch... 5 Tyson chicken nuggets,…

It can be done! You just have to retrict your daily calories to well below your BMR. Use the BMR calculator on the tools tab.

Sounds like you need a BIG shopping spree!! Gotta get new clothes that fit now! Congratulations!! :glasses: :flowerforyou:
