Another option is to eat your exercise calories back for a few weeks and see if you maintain a consistent weight loss. If you don't then eat less back. I always eat mine back and I've been consistently losing. But everybody is different so try something - measure- adjust and repeat to see what works for you.

I would log a few weekend days to see where you really stand with calorie overages. Everybody is allowed a cheat day but it still has be within reason. On mine I usually do a bunch of cardio to bank some extra calories then go over by 500-700 (over my weight loss goal) - which puts me at 200 over BMR.

If I'm far away - Like today I had 600 to go so I had a turkey brat, a protein bar - got me to a 300 calorie deficit. I'm just not hungry enough to finish it. Otherwise I treat my calorie bank account like a weekly requirement - Sometimes I go over (the weekend) other days I'm under. So long as I average at my goal I…

I know it took some time to get used to. Definitely a snack where quantity over quality is desired.

Air popped popcorn lightly salted http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/jolly-time-plain-air-popped-popcorn-3452195 20 calories per cup. Use a bit of light cooking non stick spray to help the salt stick instead of butter. Or get the powdered flavorings. I had like 8 cups last night watching spinal tap with my little…

Less sodium is key. I lost 4lbs my first 2 weeks since I switched my diet around and actually made it a point to watch sodium. Make sure you're drinking enough water as well. Also I think alcohol can force you to hang on to water as well. I know after a late night My weight will spike for 2-3 days then drop back down to…

I eat after I work out - Although I make sure I have a decent size snack an hour or 2 before I leave work.

I've been doing 5 min elliptical warm up - then my lifting then cardio. The way I see it i'd rather have extra energy and endurance for lifting than for cardio. That way I lift more and have better form.

I was shocked the first time I went to eat a "serving" of pasta. 200 calories for 2/3 cup..... I remember eating 3-4 times that amount before i started tracking.

What are you eating now? Salads (with very minimal or no dressing) and vegetables are super filling and low in calories. Lean meats - again without sauces are a good way to go. Buying 90/10 or 96/4 beef vs standard ground round will save alot along with boneless skinless chicken breasts. I like to eat so I always do 300…

I bought it for my wife for Xmas and I think I've used it more than her. Its OK, if I cant get to the gym I'll use it to get a few calories burned. I don't really get into exersize classes so a lot of the workouts aren't for me -your mileage may vary on that one. The block breaker game is my favorite along with the jump…

Wow - you used 3 different units for weight :) lbs kgs and stones My wife and I are having a slow time of it 7 lbs each in a month ( we only had 20 or so to lose so that might have something to do with it), it can be frustrating putting in a lot of effort and not seeing quick results. It might be easier to see results with…

Thanks for the quick responses - I do vary muscles used and have been leaning towards pure cardio days when I feel my body needs it. I'd like to avoid anything as detailed as bulk/cut for now, maybe in the future. The consensus so far seems to point towards getting started on building muscle vs pure fat loss and upping the…

It means something different to everybody and is probably more of a catch phrase for somebody to sell you on their ideals. But if you asked me how I defined it - I'd say it was eating things with less ingredients and less processing. Bryan
