  • My NSV is food related. No more than 250 cals eaten after dinner time. I have a problem withnightime munchies. So my plan is no more than one snack after dinner even if I have the calories... The other part will take more thought.
  • 164 for me and foo(d) fighters. I would love to see some new numbers!
  • 80 oz a day for me so that would be 560. Should be cake if I pay attn. I lost 0 this week and was down all week until to do due to sodium and bloat so this is an excellent challenge for me. I have to measure so I can put my numbers in.
  • Total for the week was 2671. I am going to up my goal for myself to 3000 next week because I got this one on 5 days a week and my real goal is 6
  • Great work everyone!! Ready to stet this next week off right! Get some sleep Vic!
  • My goal weight is slightly based on BMI. I don't want to be considered unhealthy. While I don't totally believe in the BMI I am not a bodybuilder with crazy low body fat so it somewhat pertains to me. I have never been the weight that I am shooting for. I have gotten down to 151 and I was in a size 8 comfortably. I want to…
  • If you see egg whites along with my breakfast shake it is because I scrambled them up in a frying pan :o) I am not doing a Rocky to get protein in. Just not going to happen :)
  • One thing to think about is are you physically hungry or just wanting to eat? Physical hunger I think you feed and you usually have a bit of wiggle room before you eat yourself out of a calorie deficit so feed yourself if you are hungry. Make smart choices. If it is just wanting to eat (mental hunger) this is usually my…
  • To the OP. Good luck with what you decide. I think it dies work best if you pick a program research it thoroughly and them commit to it 100%. For most of us we all have success that way. When I am completely on plan with my eating I try to do a 2 bites protein 1 bite veggie kind of approach an I don't shy away from healthy…
  • . I feel the same I don't know the science. I just know I gotta start the day with protein to have a good one. I am closer to 15 grams though
  • I would say all the men I know except one gets food cravings. The one really puts absolutely no emotional ties to food. He is incredibley healthy but almost be default. He eats when hungry has an incredibly active job and is an amazing cook along with his wife. He truly just naturally sees food as fuel. I find it hard to…
  • I think it looks prett good I would add cheese to my egg or salad. And an avocado slice or snotty servings of nuts and I think you would be at the min 1200 cals
  • Do you not like meat? There isn't on ounce of protein or very much fiber in there anywhere. Those are the only two things that help me keep full. I have to stay away from the processed carbs I would stay away from the processed carbs have on there too because once I start nibbling on that stuff I can't stop the hunger…
  • Grr the know it alls that dont know Sh!¥ just kill me. I think you are right about just dropping it and bowing out of dinner sometimes there are arguments that just aren't worth the air it takes to state your case. Keep doing what your doing and making good choices.
  • I will ditto the calls for a HRM. My favorite machine is the elliptical but is collecting dust now because it is incredibly hard for me to get a good on that thing anymore. I try to keep speed up and resistance at about 7 and I still only burn about 200 cals for 30 mins. I am one of the few it seems maybe I have jus…
  • I had ginger chicken last night 4 oz chicken breast 1/4 cup of brown rice (raw) 3/4 cup chicken broth 1.5 cups your fave veg. I use zucchini, carrots, broccoli, celery and yellow squash 1 tsp sesame oil couple slices fresh ginger splash of soy sauce. layer in a sauce pot putting rice on the bottom then chicken then…
  • I try to hit a min of 100 grams of protein a day. I think as long as you aren't going to high over the 1-1.5 grams per lb of lean body weight you should be fine. It won't hinder weight loss. Too much can tax the kidneys if you are going over the 1.5 grams per lean body weight.
  • Oh Sushi!! Its not fast food but the sodium is a killer in that soy sauce. Enjoy your day.
  • We got some awesome WI ladies! Keep up the great work. Vic thank you again for running the show! :D
  • You have already proven that you've got what it takes to make huge strides towards your goals. Now just put that know how to action. Make a commitment to yourself to make tomorrow a better day than today. Keep babystepping towards your goals and dust yourself off and forgive yourself for your failures. They taught you what…
  • I'm not great with the will power on things like that so I like to get my treats out of the house instead of out of my pantry. So yes I have goodies but I do best if the things aren't in the house to constantly tempt me
  • You really need to take pics and do measurements. You could be losing from the top down like me so it would be hard to tell in clothes. I lose face first and in the chest and arms. Even my hands look thinner before my butt, lol. I am sure 20lbs you are getting smaller we just dont always get to choose the places that shrink…
  • So cool very motivating to read. I can't wait until I'm in the higher mileage categories!
  • Don't get me started on sharing food with the kids. It drives me crazy that they always want to eat off my perfectly measured and weighed plate. I always serve myself last hoping to keep my food to myself but putting all the effort to weigh and measure makes me kinda stingy. Reading back I think I am more likely to be more…
  • My favorite fill me up snack is greek yogurt and 1/2c of Kashi cereal (I like the honey almond) that really sticks with me for awhile. Anything protein usually helps as well...
  • I think a big part of the excess skin thing is babies on top of being overweight. I have seen peeps who have lost close to 100 but hadn't had babies and there is a huge difference. One thing that show you what you might be left with is you have a lot of stretch marks. If you don't you have better skin elasticity so it…

  • Congrats to you!!! I know how hard that is. I have three kids as well. As I sit here and smack my own had for dipping into my daughters popcorn. Its smart pop and not awful cals fat wise but I don't need the carbs like she does. PLUS SHE knows when to stop unlike her mommy.
  • I think it also depends on how you eat to get there. If you lose your weight with a Huge daily calorie deficit you will probably have lowered your metabolism some and not be able to eat as much in maintenance. If you lose a lot of lean muscle in your weight loss that also effects the amount of calories that you would be…
  • Have you tried planning out your day in advance. Then you won't find yourself "looking" for things to eat at the end of the day. Trail mix, Greek yogurt, and dried fruits are easy foods to fit in that don't take up a lot of space. I think these were all suggested.
