  • I had one of these moments last night. I was on my way home from a late night with my Young Life kids, I had eaten a sensible dinner and just barely made my calorie count, needless to say I was feeling very good about it. Then IT hit me, the late night cravings! ARRRGH! So I thought, "Well, I will have a 90 calorie…
  • That's great! One stresser down! :drinker:
  • How about: You know your diet is WORKING when... You are with someone who wants to "swing into Wendy's" and the thought is just too gross! (I personally love that one!) You can pull your jeans off and on without unbuttoning them! People who see you every day begin to tell you how great you are looking! You CRAVE your…
  • Sweetie, we are all here for you and I know personally, I would not be succeeding in this battle if it weren't for all of the support, motivation, information, and love that I receive from this site! Every time you think you just can't do it, please log on and talk. There is always someone on here ready to understand and…
  • Dear double chin, Bye bye! :drinker:
  • Congrats! Fitting into a smaller size in jeans is the absolute BEST feeling! WTG!!:flowerforyou:
  • Haha! I am Jenn and I, too, am addicted to MFP! I can think of worse vices!
  • I watch something I have TiVo-ed while on my elliptical every morning! My fave to watch is Biggest Loser! It's pretty motivating! Other than that, I am a reality tv junkie so I will watch whatever I have recorded! It makes it so much easier because I just don't pay attention to the fact that I have been on there for 30…
  • Pam, Way to go!! I think what you accomplished should show you that you CAN do it! I love that your MIL put out some fruit and veggies, it says she does care. Only thing I would suggest is to maybe just have a bite of your husband's dessert. I know that sometimes I THINK that I want something sweet and usually if I can…
  • Congratulations!! :drinker: I love hearing about success stories, so motivating!!
  • I am loving this thread! Oh you are just adorable, inside and out, and I can only pray the best for you in all of this fun!! I am 28 this month and have not dated anyone in nearly 8 years. Just haven't found anyone worth my time and is also interested in me! I am pretty sure I will be a nervous wreck when I eventually get…
  • Oh and I have learned that I CAN do it!
  • I love this one!
  • I am also a picky eater but I have the opposite problem. I rarely eat meat and I don't like most of it. I love salad and veggies :flowerforyou: and can (and usually do) eat a salad for lunch every day. My biggest frustration is that I get bored with eating the same foods and have to change up my choices. I have found that…
  • Yeah, I can definitely attest to this statement. I have pretty much cut the "junk" out of my diet and I had only pizza as a lunch option one day last week. (We are served an employee lunch at the camp I work, which is usually really good and healthy from our 5-star chef) I only had 1 1/2 slices but it sat in my tummy like…
  • I am enjoying my waist more and more all the time!
  • WOW! :frown: I didn't know that there were weights on other licenses! That is a horrifying concept and I am so glad that Texas doesn't feel the need to broadcast that information! That can change so easily, why would that be on a license? :noway:
  • I am with Banks on this one, sweety! :noway:
  • HILARIOUS!!
  • Two hillbillies walk into a restaurant. While having a bite to eat, they talk about their moonshine operation. Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich, begins to cough. And, after a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in real distress. One of the hillbillies looks at her and says, 'Kin ya…
  • Always eat what it tells you to eat! If you exercise then you get to eat more calories. This site already calculates for your daily BMR and gives you a caloric intake from there. So when it tells you to eat, EAT!
  • whoops, I overindulged for lunch too and I am at about 148 left for today! :ohwell: I am just going to have to hit the eliiptical at home for some catch up calories tonight! Ugh, and I have a big potluck dinner with my coworkers tonight! :grumble: :flowerforyou: Good luck to you!
  • You are definitely in my prayers. I lost my grandmother 14 years ago and I STILL get emotional whenever I talk/think about her. You will get through and help give her the joy of knowing how much she matters and that you are so thankful for the time you shared. I didn't get to do that with my grammy, she was gone quickly,…
  • Shoot that's harder than i thought it was going to be!
  • That's awesome! It's such a testimony to how much kids actually pay attention when we think they have no idea! Makes you want to really watch what you say around them! BTW: I keep seeing everyone use the term "DH" What does that mean??
  • ugh gross! I just ate and it may be coming back up... bleh!

  • Sweety, you ARE starving yourself! Your body needs those 1200 calories and when you work off half of them then you are putting your body into starvation mode. Working out is WONDERFUL!! Keep up that mentality but know that you HAVE to keep your calories at 1200 so that means if you want to work out for 600 calories then…
  • Yeah, workouts count above and beyond your normal daily activities!! :drinker:
