I share your frustration. All digital scales even the expensive ones seem to do that. So I try my best to stand in the same spot every time. I think the accurate one will be the one in Doctor's office or in Gym.

I add walnuts to my cereal everyday. I love nuts but try to be careful as they are packed in calories and worry about the Cholesterol.

I am close to 61. Workout 2 hours everyday. I mix cardio (walking, Elliptical, Zumba and Swimming) with Yoga which is my latest obsession. I do add some light weight lifting in between. My dad is my inspiration. He is 87 and walks 4 miles everyday.

Today was my first day of swimming after 3 months gap. Thought I will try doing 20 laps and may be 50 laps if I really feel good. I was very happy that not only I was able to do102 laps but did an hour of beginner's yoga afterwards.

I am 60 years old and I am determined to loose weight. It is definitely possible for you to loose weight. It may not be easy like in 20s or 30s but easier in 40s than in 60s right?:happy: I am much happier and healthier in this age than I was in 40s. You can do it.

I used Fitbit one for the past 10 months and loved it. But twice I forgot and it went into to washer/dryer cycle and I was pleasantly surprised that it still worked fine. But it stopped working when I was charging it probably the walk in the heavy rain that day might have caused it. Anyway, I am shopping again to buy one.…

My brother did it and lost lot of weight but regained it all back and more when he started eating normal diet.

I weigh in multiple times in a day. It shows me the trend. I make sure my weight is not more than 3 pounds compare to first weigh in the morning. If my weight is more than 2 pounds after lunch, I eat a very light for dinner. I control my food intake depending on the weight. It might sound crazy to some people but that is…

I don't eat if I am not hungry just to meet the calories. I have noticed that the day I am under (not usually), I happen to eat well the next day. If I am over my calories, I consciously cut down on calories the next day.

My husband did this as he was frustrated because he had hit a plateau. Worked like a charm. He lost 3 pounds in 3 days and did not gain it back. In fact he has lost couple of more pounds since then and thinking of doing it again. Good luck.

When I add protein to my breakfast, I feel I am less hungry and don't crave for foods so much. When I feel like snacking, I go for a piece of fruit or some roasted unsalted peanuts. Sounds delicious. Just curious..your recipe calls for Soy sauce but I have recently heard that Soy products interfere with thyroid medicine. Probably better to substitute with something else.

I burn in an hour : Elliptical : 941, Zumba : 595 Swim : 600 I do 2 hours of Cardio on an average daily.
