I use my HRM and I find that my calories burned is lower than what MFP has for them.

You will end up losing muscle instead of fat...you need to eat in order to fuel your body..try also working out in different ways.. You're starving your body at 1000 cal so your body is holding on..

I best thing to do is eat the calories you are supposed to. When you exercise you burn calories. Then you are supposed it eat some of those calories. The more you exercise the more calories you have..make sense? The best way to figure your calories burned is to get you a heart rate monitor.. I hope this helps..welcome!

Good luck on your journey! It starts with your first step. Don't get discouraged...I would also get a sleep study done, you may need a c-pap machine.

I completly understand. When you have been overweight for so long your brain is used to seeing that. You will have to reprogram your way of thinking..I don't see it either but my partner does..my cloths feel looser..so all I know I will just keep being healthy and let the chips fall where they may..
