I'm going to chime in with a repeat of what a few others said. Do what feels right for you. There are times when I just feel crampy and I go to the gym anyway. There are times when I can't stand or sit or do anything but lie in the fetal position; those days, I don't go. I also get massive migraines usually on the 1st or…

I agree with a lot on here. I have both and love them both. I like the FB because it tells me how active I have been throughout the day. I like the HRM because it's more accurate for work outs. A problem I had at the beginning was that I would say, well...I worked out and burned 600 calories, so I'll eat them back. Then i…

I bought a sportline and it did not work for me. It said my HR was always at 60. Tried a bunch of things to make it work, but gave up. I bought a Polar FT4 and I love it. I love that I can see my HR on the monitor of all of the cardio equipment at the gym too.

Tofu (I throw it in with veggies to help with my protein) Kale (I like the texture when it's cooked and helps me get my vitamins in) Grilled chicken Eggs and Egg whites Steak Fish and seafood (mostly salmon and crab) Salsa for flavor Steal cut oatmeal or Quaker's Weight Smart Oatmeal (very low sugar)

You can do the videos that everyone is mentioning even if you write down what you have to do and then do it outside in a park. Or do push ups, squats, lunges, etc in a park. Add weights when you run...if you don't have room for a couple of dumb bells in your apartment, it's time to move. Do yoga and/or pilates outside (at…

If you measure it after cooking, you are underestimating the amount of calories (and nutrients you are taking in). Think about it this way: If when you cook meat all you're losing is water...why would the 4 oz you end up with be less calories than the 5 oz you started with? You're not cooking calories out. I did a lot of…

2-3 pounds throughout the day except for during my TOM when I generally gain about 5 pounds and then lose it (and usually more) a day or 2 after it ends.

I had an experience like this. I went to a market night and was at a fruit stand when one worker told the other to skip me and help another guy. His exact words (in Spanish) were, "Just let the fat girl wait." This was after I had been losing weight for a while (I think I was down 20 or 30 pounds at this time). I let this…

There are so many factors into how much you would burn. My suggestion is to get a heart rate monitor and wear it during your exercise. It will be much more accurate than any of our guesses.

Oh, and make sure to avoid these foods at least for now: http://www.oxypowder.com/foods-that-cause-constipation.html

Try these things: http://www.oxypowder.com/laxative-foods.html and then if you're truly drinking enough water and getting your fiber and have tried these things and still having issues, go see your doctor.

Sadly, this is all too common and not just with kids. I went to a farmer's market a couple of years ago when I was working on losing weight; I had lost almost 30 pounds and was feeling better. I decided to buy some good fresh fruits and veggies. Well, I was standing and waiting and one of the men who was working the stand…

They can use lasers to get rid of them, I believe.

Just wanted to point out, your trainer hasn't done any ground breaking math. The other poster said that 3 pills is 500. You keep saying 1 is 166...they're the same statement. Your trainer divided the 500 by 3 to find out how much each pill would help. I'm still not going to try them, because every time some "miracle" pill…

I agree with a lot of the people who've posted...I love both and I think they are a great combination. Like they have said, the FitBit is great for all day, every day. I once heard someone say, "Sure you can work your butt off in the gym and burn 500-1000 calories, but if you sit on that butt the rest of the day, it…

I don't find it difficult at all...as a matter of fact, I have a VERY hard time getting to 1200 net on days I work out. The biggest thing is to get moving and they you have exercise calories to eat back. It will get easier. Maybe slowly lower your calories until you're at 1200? Maybe you're changing too much at once.

Grilled chicken sandwich with no sauce and some apples along with an unsweetened iced tea is not too bad.

I don't always eat breakfast. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. The only difference I see is that I'm actually hungrier throughout the day if I eat breakfast.

I agree with the above posters when it comes to lots of fruits and veggies. I didn't see your diary so I don't know, but if you eat out at all, it adds up REALLY fast. I actually got another app for my phone it's just called "Nutrition" the icon is blue and has a fork, spoon, and knife. I use it for when I'm eating out…

The last two days I've worn my HRM when doing it and it was about 160 calories. I weigh 180 and am too out of shape to do the whole thing (I lay out on some of the jumping jacks) but I don't think doing the last couple of jumping jacks each time would bring me up the burn as much as it says I do when I log as circuit…

I agree with the above poster. You can't spot reduce, but the 30 day shred is free online, so why not start there?
-
Count me in! I started yesterday (Thursday) but I figure a couple of extra days on level 1 will be ok.

I kept mine and it was nice to be able to wear them again. I was bummed when I missed the window of fitting in some of them and they are now too big. I have now come across the opposite problem; I have clothes that are too big. I gave a bunch away a couple of weeks ago and it was a great feeling!

Love mine. I was stalled in my weight loss and went and bought a FitBit. I started eating what it was telling me to and my stall ended. I bought a good HRM today and the calories were very close to each other after I did my cardio. I'm about to do 30 day shred and find out how close the numbers are.

I love mine. I actually just stopped right now to sync mine (my laptop was off all day). I love that it communicates with MFP without me doing anything. I sometimes wonder how accurate it is...can it tell the difference between me walking on a treadmill with a 0 incline and a 15 incline? Not sure, but I love it…

I tried for years to cut back only to jump right back into drinking 5-10 a day. My addiction was bad. My addiction was well known; students and parents would bring them to me at events and I even got presents like Diet Coke Christmas tree ornaments. One day about 6 months ago, I just gave it up. It was a terrible…

I think (especially early in the morning) people are there to work out and don't worry about you or your weight. With that being said, there's this one incredibly fit girl who is always at my gym; she's like my goal body. Well, one day as we were both leaving at the same time she stopped me to tell me that I was an…

I'm 5'1 and 181 now, but started at 222. Feel free to add me.
