I get the usual and whatever is on sale. I try to have the essentials stocked all time, spices, can tuna, low calorie munchies, plain popcorn, whole wheat pastas. I wish I could learn to plan my meals, but I don't know what I'm going to eat until I get hungry. :p

Sometimes I find myself adding 1.2 or 1.4 just to make the calorie count correct. Not liking all those listings with someone's custom sandwich, custom recipes, and incorrect entries/spelling. Can't all the MFP entries (like the apple, banana, vegggie, etc) have a special tag or come up on top? Sometimes they are buried…

Yes, I can't stand when I'm working out and someone is having a loud conversation! I don't care if someone is texting or silently playing wiith their phone, just don't talk. If you need to take a call, pause your machine and go outside/lobby.

Old Navy's moisture wicking pants and Academy's BCG moisture wicking sports bras and t-shirts (I have to shop in the mens section for shirts because women's XL run small and look terrible on me). They need to be fitted and fresh, I hate any material that feels hot!

I think eventually, after working with the same menu, you'll be so sick of smelling pizza and wings that you'll stay way from it.

I love running outdoors. 3 miles helps me burn up to 600 calories, while on the treadmill I reach 400-450! I don't have a large park or side walks near so I don't feel comfortable running if it's after dark.

Warm up for 5 mins at 3.0mph then jog at 5.5mph for 3 miles. A few months ago I'd walk for 4.0 then run 8.0 for about a min, and I really liked the results of high interval training, but it really took a toll on my left knee. :-s

I had a friend who came off of it about two years ago gained 8-10 pounds but has maintained most of the loss same for another co-worker. Two other ladies I know lost quite a bit and gained it all back. Someone really wanted recruit me into it, definitely glad I didn't accept. It's not for me.

I can relate, I'm in no place to go out and buy a lot of new clothes. I spent a lot on my clothes and its frustrating not having anything to wear. Craigslist the ones you are sick of looking at, keep very few that can be belted/altered (my large blouses I have converted into shirt dresses for casual days). Go buy new stuff…

I'd buy a few running shoes, weights, bike and accessories, a treadmill or an elliptical.

I agree, it takes a LOT for me to burn 900 calories. I usually "pause" my HRM when I switch machines and don't start it again until my heart rate is elevated and stop it immediately when I cool down. What works for ME, is overestimating my calories/servings and rounding down calories burned.

I log everything, a calorie is a calorie. Only some calories keep you fuller longer.

Thank you for posting this. I had the worse binge day since I started back in January and I'm feeling terrible about it. I was at a friend's party yesterday and there was SO much not so healthy food I hadn't had in a long time. It's 4pm and I'm still feeling bloated and full from last night.

Agreed. Don't force her, or nag about it. It will only make her resist more. She'll know when she's ready. In the meantime prepare healthy meals, and ask her to join you for a walk like another poster mentioned.
