Dude, that's awesome! You've done so well and i'm sure your daughter will thank you one day when she realises just what you've achieved. I'm in a similar position with two young daughters and I really know where you're coming from. Seriously well done!

That's great

Crass stupidity! What you mean stupid stupidity as opposed to?

Hey Nicole, and welcome! Tip 1: Honesty... If you are honest with your logging you'll find your plus points and weak points when it comes to your diet. I didn't realise how many peanuts I ate until I looked through my diet. If you cheat, the only person you're cheating is yourself! Tip 2: Don't think diet, think change of…

Awesome! Well done you!

I've got to say having a supportive partner can make a HUGE difference. My wife is not only supportive but her diet has become better than mine and has lost loads of weight too! It was way harder to eat right before she decided to make a change in her diet / lifestyle. I hope you (and everyone else) finally get him to see…

Congrats, I've signed up for a 5k in two months purely because I need to get over my hatred for running. But well done you WTG!

Fabulous, your hard work has certainly paid off. Well done

Nothing is ever too late! Go for it, I hit 40 this year and am getting lighter and fitter all the time even though I keep getting told I'm past my prime. I certainly don't feel it!

Your progress is just awesome, well done! And thanks for posting, it always helps motivate people when they see what can be achieved! Keep up the good work

True! TNP has worn a traffic cone on their head whilst drunk

To be fair hate was probably too strong a word, I just don't like references to others in an anthem. I belt it out at Murrayfield with the best of them. (Although thankfully theres a few thousand people drowning out my awful singing). I totally agree England should get a stirring anthem, get's the fans going as well as the…

When the pipe band play Highland Cathedral before the team run out it has the same effect on me. (Great tune, written by 2 german pipe enthusiasts).

I'm Scottish and hate Flower of Scotland, I don't understand why an anthem should be anti another nation. It should just be patriotic. But while on the subject, God save the Queens no better "And like a torrent rush, Rebellious Scots to crush". Just hoping for a good tournament and some great Rugby from all

Hi Ilona, First of all, you're doing great so far. keep up the good work! I have a wii that's been gathering dust for a couple of years so I know where you are coming from. Must give it a go, otherwise it's just a waste of money. I keep thinking about starting running, but if i'm honest of all the different exercises in…

Probably due to low blood sugar as it's pre-breakfast. As you've not eaten in a while, your glucose level is low which signals your adrenal glands to release epinephrine (adrenaline) which acts to release the stored glucose but the epinephrine will raise your heart rate as a result. (I'm sure you know all about the effects…

I wanted to be a fireman, unfortunately my fear of ladders and fire put paid to that! (I'm not even joking!)

Fantastic results, well done you!

The beauty of watching the game in the UK is it will start around midnight. Luckily I can't face food or beer at that time of night, especially when I know i'll be at work 4 hours after the game finishes!

I much prefer the idea of a wristband, but not sure about the expense. I will probably wait and see how people get on with it and think of getting one in the summer

The gym group are okay, I am a member. One month notice no min contract average price works out around £17 per month (Prices vary at individual locations). I'm sure it gets busy during the day but as I go at between 5-6am I couldn't tell you how busy it really is at peak times.

I have bought the DVD... as far as i've got so far! Heard great things about it though

I'm 40 later this year, which I still cant quite believe if I'm honest. Having issues with that but lot's of seem to rave about it so maybe I should just get over it! If anyone wants to add me please feel free, I need a helping hand into the 40's lol

I've been feeling down for a while, has had the opposite effect. My Diet is still reasonable but my exercise has gone to pot! My Dr thinks i suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder rather than full on depression. You guys are inspiration though, getting outdoors to train may well help, as will spring lol
