CC, Yes! My brother and I were told that if one (or both) of us lose 100 lbs., he'd give us $1000! Definitely something to motivate me because we could sure use it!!

These are all the goals listed in my profile. Some are just numbers, some are associated with previous things. My other two goals are to fit into my wedding rings again and to come off of my medication for high blood pressure. I don't know where these two goals fit into the puzzle, but they're still important goals. Goal…

I'm just now looking at the week challenge, but I did push harder today and walk 4 miles. I usually shoot for 2, but 3 on a good day. Yesterday I did 4, so I wanted to step it up again. Unfortunately, today produced some new, painful blisters. I won't be able to do my usual walking for a bit, but I'll come up with…

In light of the loss I made this week, I'm changing my goals slightly. Here's what I said for mine originally: Week 1: 09/07/13 = 340 Week 2: 09/14/13 = 339 Week 3: 09/21/13 = 337 Week 4: 09/28/13 = 334 Here's what I'm changing my goals to: Week 1: 09/07/13 = 338 Week 2: 09/14/13 = 337 Week 3: 09/21/13 = 335 Week 4:…

I'd rather not use my name, so I guess Lou is ok? MommyLouLou (or sometimes with an "s" on the end) is what my little girl calls me.

Well I wanted to edit my post, but I don't see it as an option. I meant to say those were my weigh-in goals, not actual weigh-ins.

Hi! I'm a 30-year-old mommy of a toddler with more than 100 lbs. to lose. I'd love for you to add me so we can encourage each other. :)

I was going to take a break from exercise today since I walked almost 4 miles yesterday, but because of this challenge, I'm going to use my dumbbells to work on my arms. They look awful and I usually try to do a bit on them most days, so I'm going to do extra today. Thanks!

My husband, daughter, and I split a chicken nugget value meal between the three of us at Chic-fil-a while we were out the other day. One of the workers said, "Oh you're sharing" like she was shocked. We didn't get stuffed, but we were satisfied enough.

Tonight I'm having bbq chicken tenders with vegetable medley, steamed broccoli, and sauteed peppers.

Oh, there are so many reasons. So many. My #1 reason when I was younger was to look pretty -- I never thought a man would be attracted to me without losing weight. Now 30, married, and a mother, my #1 reason completely changed. I want to lose weight to be here for my daughter (and hubby -- but more so, my daughter). I…

I turned 30 this year, so I know what you mean. Feel free to add me. I have 200 lbs. to lose. We can do this!
-
Hi! I want to lose at least 100, preferably closer to 200, but I'm just focusing on the first 100 for now since those will have to go before the second 100 can. Feel free to add me. I do my best to encourage other friends on here with their attempts. :)

My mom made a pretty dress for me to wear at my wedding rehearsal. It was a little snug when I wore it then, and it's impossible to zip up now, so my first little goal is to wear that dress again.

Since when my daughter began solid foods, I have worked diligently to get her started off on the right foot with her eating habits. She's only 2 (nearly 3), but I'm so blessed that she loves water (only has milk besides water) and loves a variety of fruits and vegetables (spinach, broccoli, green beans, and lettuce are…

Makes sense. Thank you all so much for the assistance. It seems like I'm losing at a much slower rate (maybe 1 lb. a week or so) than I used to be able to, so I thought something must be off. I'll definitely lower my number as suggested. I'm not feeling hungry except late at night, so I'll try saving up a few calories to…

Wow, thanks! I'm glad I checked on this. I'm 66.3%. Currently 349 lbs., 5.5 feet. For the past month, I average walking 2 miles a day (probably 4-5 days a week) with a pace between 3 and 3.5 MPH. I know that wouldn't be much in way of exercise for smaller people, but it is definitely challenging to me, so I'd consider that…

Yes, I figured it out, but I really hate to post it -- it's so ridiculous. I'm morbidly obese. There were two BMRs listed on that site. One was Harris-Benedict Formula (which was the 2342). The other was Katch-McArdle Forumla (which said 1529). Big difference there.

You look awesome! I hope I can some how lose 60 lbs. in 8 months and then some more! Great job!!

It told me mine was 253, lol!

I tried to do this, and I don't know if I messed up or what, but it said my body fat percentage is 28.6%, and I'm sure it would have to be way higher than that, since I'm morbidly obese. I put in my measurements correctly, so I don't know how I messed up. I just don't get how I could supposedly eat like 2300 calories…
