I had dropped 2 dress sizes before I noticed. The weight crept back on as I became slack, disheartened thinking I hadn't changed. Well that's when I noticed how far I had come once I noticed my clothes were tight again. The battle has recommenced:devil: Don't give in, you will notice a difference. Take yourself shopping…

All the above except not the c in R.I.C.E. compression isn't recommended anymore as it pushes the fluid to other areas and can cause problems (I was told this on my last trip to A&E, rugby related not running lol) I know a lot of people running with various knee issues and it doesn't stop them. Listen to your body and…

Another study also found that using larger cutlery does a similar mental trick as the small plate.............. but this could cause some problems if the spoon is too big to use with a dinky bowl lol

Morning or evening runs are great for me but anything between 10am-6pm is hardwork. Unfortunately every race I enter seems to be during those times lol I think everyone has their own natural time/body clock for exercise and mine says afternoon for sleeping, shame that convention says its work time

Derbyshire here, feel free to add me and have a nosey at the Team UK group

Get to the doctors! It could anything; Iron deficency, low blood pressure, sleep, etc etc Get checked out instead of trying to guess and then you can get back at it a damn sight quicker hun:flowerforyou:

Hahahaha yep it is

Hell yes! its all about finishing, beating my own preconceptions about my ability, pushing through and enjoying it. Comfort zones are great, but who knows what you can be capable of outside of your comfort zone unless you do it

Hi hunni I'm veggy feel free to add me :)

Hooping is great! If you can make your own do it, I make them and its easy :) If you want to buy one, try a 100cm diameter hoop or bigger. The smaller a hoop, the harder it is to do. Likewise weight; the heavier, the easier but they can hurt if too heavy. Kids flimsy hoops will not work for you hun:frown: Firetoys sell…

Get back to the physio hun x

Hahahaha Meanderingmam I completely agree! If you find it boring running at that distance then you really do need to find somewhere better to run............get off road and enjoy nature:flowerforyou:

Hi there, I stupidly hyper git. Rugby, running, cycling, hula hooping, poi.......oh the list of daftness goes on  Its all good fun just I have issues with the food side of life (you know the one, where it somehow manages to disappear into my mouth lol) Anyway my diary is open for critacism and I've just wrecked my…

I agree with Meanderingmam, but find something you enjoy doing and it makes it all so much easier

Hi there, 33 and in the delightfully hilly Derbyshire I run 2-3times a wk (depending on game days), rugby training 1 a wk, cycle 1-2 a week, walk a hell of a lot, spend 2days a wk hula hooping, juggling and spinning poi and a spot of strength training thrown in here and there lol:smile:
-
PR for me.........though I tend to just do it for the fun (slow fun, I'm not going to be winning anything lol)

Ahhhhh running in the rain........ Yeah it has its moments, sheer joy and pure hatred as well as the rest of the moody spectrum lol I love it, its the wind as it hammers rain like bullets in your face that brings me down, but then at the end I'm smiling like a loonbag just because I did it:laugh: Whatever the…

Its do-able hunni. The strength training will boost your running, making you a faster and stronger runner. I really recommend Kettlercise classes, they are so good, unfortunately for me my class was cancelled for piloxing  Aim for 2xweekly strength sesh with you 3xweekly c25k sesh and you should rock it. I managed to…

Yesterday I ran 8.5miles so only a few more then I'm ready for the half marathon (not bad for a fat lass lol) Today I'm hanging round for deliveries and then tonight is rugby training.......in the cold, wet mud lol t'is fun

98 min of road cycling, most of which involved some very long, steep hills lol 1hr or so of gardening and then rushing around doing odd jobs. Its been a busy day and more bruises are appearing from sundays game
-
For the last 7 years I've played rugby, so yesterday was a self=imposed rest day. Instead of letting your kids have all the fun, join them......well not in their actual teams but maybe you should try it out, I've never looked back and am at my fittest now (well still improving)

Accident and emergency at Chesterfield Royal Hospital...........had a giggle that night due to meeting a few mates in there
-
I've signed up for my 1st half at the beginning of April. Its in a little Norfolk village (UK) where my mate lives, its the perfect solution to get me to visit her lol its also a lot flatter over there than it is in my hometown of Chesterfield:laugh:
-
Shhh don't tell but I'm in Derbyshire, a few miles away:laugh:
-
My original plan had been kettlercise but thats been axed :( Instead I get home from work and then who knows, possibly a run............on my own as usual lol

I love it, thank you for sharing:smile: x
