  • Falafel. Tbh I've been eating them for years but since having to admit defeat and get my stomach issues dealt with, they have become my go to fodder...... Well almost because some supermarket brands are not coeliac friendly grrrr
  • Yep, don't think that many people using the app realise that there's this side to it. Feel free to add me hunni x
  • 40,runner,bodypumper, mum and step mum but they're old enough to look after themselves lol and work full time. I'm needing to lose 20kg, I'm active but I'm also greedy and the fella doesn't help with his wine supping and snacks 😆 Anyhoo add me x
  • 40, daughter at University, a step kid at home and another that stops every other weekend so no issues with kids most days, just my own self sabotage that stops me from getting back to what I was. Massive weight gain since meeting my other half and lock down did not help. Runner, bodypumper and a full time bus driver. Add…
  • A not so strict veggie here (I'm a cheese addict and occasional yorkshire Fishcake partaker). Feel free to add me x
  • 40 years old and I'm trying again too. Blummin hard work, i spent lock down 1 not being able to run as I wrecked my ankle on a run and then did my other ankle at the start of the 2nd lock down. My running has gone from stupid long distances to 10k at the most. My waistline has expanded dramatically and never has it felt so…
  • Yep I'm ina similar boat, lost loads 2 yrs ago and have struggled to get back in gear. I'm 40 at Xmas and really don't want to fat at 40. Add me, my friend list is somewhat depleted since the heady days of slimmer me x
  • Add me, lost loads two years ago, slowly put a bit back on and then boom lockdown happened and I'm at my fattest for years x
  • Yep, I strayed away from the app and am now at my heaviest for two years. Lockdown isn't helping in the active stakes and the boyfriend isn't helping in food stakes 🤔 Luckily we do have a big garden to play in and great local walks but not the same as sticking the gear on and buggering off to peak for a play on the tops.…
  • Take the daughter bake to uni in Wales and go play at the coast and stop at all my favourite places along the way home
  • 38 and soooo far away from my goals 😔
  • Add me hunni, I'm active and my diary is open x
  • Just quit one of my gym memberships and considering ditching the other one....... This isn't bad, it's wrecked my mojo and screwed up my training. Back to running, which makes me happy, and bodyweight stuff which also makes happy, stronger and less ouchy. Apologies if this sounds unproductive but the gym isn't for everyone…
  • Don't push through the pain, you will be causing more damage. Work on strengthening your muscles to take strain off your spine, search out some stretches to relieve your neck and speak to a physio about what exercise is best for you and your back x
  • Wow I feel very much like I fluked my ultras. I didn't read anything, just upped my distance weekly, did a spot of strength work and yoga and made sure I was eating and drinking at the right times. Saying that I'm now struggling after all these years thanks to my asthma drugs. Good luck with your training and races ladies…
  • Sorry I don't live there but it is beautiful. I usually pop down for the Bungay half marathon and what I gather from my mate down there, there's a big fitness community. Hope the move went well and you've found a workout partner or two x
  • Errrrrr I just run  I have a route in mind and do it, then I check the time and mileage out afterwards. It can be anything from 5miles to 8 or more and time wise; if I haven't got time to just run then I'll do my 45min quick road route for a fix lol
  • Haha yep it's usually a pillock with a beer gut, smoking a *kitten* that shouts insults
  • only after a run. A large glass with ice, lemon and soda really helps me get off my *kitten* and pick them up and knock the mud off and put them to dry
  • Don't have expectations and just enjoy it. You'll notice what is happening to you as you progress x
in Yoga? Comment by emblu November 2015
  • Ouch! Hope you heal quickly but definitely speak to your doctor before risking anything x
  • I completely agree with the above posters; follow your doctors advice and once it has healed get some physio. Ignoring your doctors advice would be daft hunni and lead to longer recovery, and if he thinks you're at risk of a blood clot, then possibly a worse outcome. Rest up and do as your doctor has said x
  • ^^^^^ Yep, up it to 3x a week hunni Euphoria and highs didn't happen til I upped my mileage, but generally running just cheers me up no matter what the mileage. Keep at it, you'll be surprised have quickly you can achieve 5k
  • Derbyshire..... add me, my diary is open and I'm usually upto something daft..... sorry inspiring lol
  • Mine is open, not perfect but open  Feel free to add x
  • Chesterfield, Derbyshire:-)
  • I'm not going to give you any advice as the luvly folk above have done an awesome job  Well done on coming back from injury and have a fantastic race hunni  Where is the half you are running?
  • Have you seen a doctor and what have they said about your injury?
  • Ice and have a nosey at some stretches. Have a gander at this, it may help but defo get checked out hun http://www.patient.co.uk/health/metatarsalgia
  • New shoes and see a doctor hun. When it happens to me its usually because its either freezing cold (my circulation is screwed) or because my shoes are knackered and I need to stop being a cheapskate and buy new lol :D Get checked out hunni, it could be something as silly as needing more support and the longer you leave it…
